AFM-I had my mystery u/s done today. I have follicles on both sides and a thick lining...so everything looks good. The nurse here thought Serbia wanted the U/S just to make sure there were no cysts. I took two bcp today and yesterday. Last day of BCP tomorrow...yay!!!! Then I will have to wait for AF. Man, there is a lot of waiting in the IVF world.

Wolffie and kala- I still don't know if there is any $ involved...I was too chicken to ask her on the phone today. She sked me to send her a photo of my DH and I so when I e-mailed her the photo I asked in the e-mail if there was any compensation involved...now I feel like I shouldn't have asked though...I hate asking about that stuff. Oh well, hopefully she won't be offended, I asked it in a nice way so...we'll see. I'll let you know as soon as I know. As for the hair and makeup, that would be nice but she didn't mention it (I deserve a little pampering after all of this right!). I think I'm going to go get my hair trimmed though just in case:) When I was talking to the producer she mentioned that she herself has had fertility issues and she and her DH adopted a child. She just got done shooting for another series on Endometriosis with a Dr. In SC who is a leading researcher on the disease so she knows alot about that too. It was a very interesting conversation!
Kala, I'm with Wolffie too- I think once you get to Serbia everything will fall in to place and be just fine and thank you for the kind hopes for my eggies, it's so nice to know that there are other people out there rooting for you!

claud662- when I went in for my first u/s thursday she said my lining was thin too which kinda worried me but they would be looking for it to thicken. Isn't there a drug you take to stop you from ovulating until they are ready for you to? I wish I could be more help to you. I would think they could keep working on your lining up until the day of ET but don't know for sure. That may be a question for the ghost. GL babe.

Got my fert. report @ 8am this morning. Out of the 14 they retreived, 13 were mature and 10 fertilized. I'm very happy with this and the embryologist said that she is more please with the results this time also. Hope @ least 50% make it to Wednesday.

Hey ladies. I am not having a good day. I am on day 3 of my stims (gonal f) and 5 units Lupron daily. I am having headaches and mood swings. I can handle that but hubby does not understand. He insists on perpetuating the arguments. I tend to be a pretty emotional person....not so much sappy per se but let's just say you always know where I stand whether happy, angry etc....anyways I flipped out this morning b/c the kitchen was a wreck...hubby had been up and basically has no consideration that the kitchen was clean when he got up. There was crap everywhere. Well I woke with splitting headache and saw the mess. I was upset. Well he started just arguing back. I told him I just needed some time to get my head together but I did not appreciate his lack of respect for things I do( example cleaning the kitchen then him messing it up). I explained that I was jacked on hormones and just needed some help and understanding....no, he continued the argument. Basically saying it was no excuse for being mad at him. I understand I should not sweat the small stuff and maybe I did overreact but I CANT help it. I feel like these hormones are getting the best of me. I told him I needed some slack considering what I was putting myself through for us and our family....he said he was not having another baby with me when I treat him this way!!! Well fine time to tell me know when we are 1/2 way through this. I am so upset. Please tell me I am not imagining these volatile moods....???? Am I just going nuts???
I am sorry for no personals....I admit, I too am having a hard time keeping up with the board. I read it everyday but I seem to lose my memory too b/c I cannot remember everything to respond. I did see we had a new BFP....congrats Johannita! I also see some great embie numbers....grow babies grow! I look forward to more BFPs
miyaya- So sorry for your DH's attitude. I think sometimes they just don't get it, and they don't know how to react so they end up saying things they don't mean. That doesn't excuse their behavior but it might help to understand it. I have not had to take Lupron yet but according to everything I've read from other posts, it really does a number on your mood. We all have our moments and I'm sure your DH is probably on pins and needles too, nervous about everything that's going on, so he's probably a bit excitable as well. I tell you what, after everything us couples go through, we really must truly love each other to get through this together. This causes so much stress on relationships, there's no way a couple could get through this without having arguments every once in a while. GL and hugs to you.

Forgot to mention claud662 I looked at my IVF papers and the Ganirelix injection is supposed to prevent premature ovulation. You may already know that but I guess as long as you took that prior you should be fine. GL today.
I hope that you all have a nice weekend. I'm planning to wash 2 giant dogs, then wrestle them into a pedicure ( I know, have fun with that) I swear these 2 act like the nail trimming is the end of the world! Then tomorrow, I go for the start of the every other day monitoring. As long as they will give me my lab values, we will get along just fine. I just hope that once I get them, I wish I didnt. I've started to worry that theres a reason they dont tell them. Wish me luck!

I don't have too much time, the weather is beautiful this weekend and I have lots of plans for fun pre-PUPO stuff.
I took my last lupron injection last night...woohoo! I have been on it for nearly 3 months with a small break in between, and I am sooooo done with it! Bye bye headaches and bruises! But of course I started progesterone (crinone) this morning and immediately felt stomach sick and crampy. Oh well, if it's not one thing, then it's another.
My FET is on Tuesday afternoon, they will call me with a time on Monday, but it is tentative for 2:30. I am so glad I am finally at this point, it took so long to get here. And I have promised myself to relax and stay stress free for the days leading up to it. I am going tomorrow for a head to toe body treatment and a pedicure. I have had the head to toe treatment once before and it is FABulous. Here is the brochure description:

miyaya- sorry about dh, I am sure he is not being insensitive on purpose, but guys just can't understand how these drugs affect us. It is hard, the stims make us all go crazy, and it would be nice if the hubby's could realize it and help out a bit more. Don;t worry, this will all pass soon.
shelby- 10 out of 13 is great! Hopefully you will get some frosties too! So are you doing a 5 day transfer?
wolfie- that is great you are getting faint lines. Did you get a negative at some point so you know trigger is gone? I hope that line keeps getting darker for you.
kiwi- 8 out of 12 is good, and like they said for severe male factor. We are male factor too.
sancap- how exciting to be doing a show. A mom in my parents group just got done taping a baby story for TLC, I think that one aire in november. Keep us posted on how that goes.
lisa- oh the headaches! Some days I felt like my head was going to explode, and I was also very forgetful at times, having to write everything down. I hope now that I am done with it, my memory will return and headaches will go away. I hope you feel better soon, it went in waves for me. For days I would be fine, and then I would feel like crap.

Michele - Your spa treatments sound FABULOUS! I am SO jealous! I am SO thrilled that you have finally made it to this point! Only a few more days!!! I didn't have a trigger with the FET so that's why I took the HPTs so early. I knew I wouldn't get a false positive without a trigger. Do you think you'll POAS?

AFM, Still getting positive HPTs. Last night I had some super strong sharp cramps which scared the crap out of me. Hopefully they didn't mean anything. I am going in for my beta tomorrow. I am getting very anxious! I had also experienced horrible acne when I was on the BCP and lupron. It had started to go away and then came back 10 fold. OMG, it is so horrible and I'm so grossed out by it! It seriously is all over my chest, back, neck, and upper arms! I hate it, i hate it, i hate it!!!!!!! I hope everyone is having a good weekend.
Been overwhlemed with the first week of school this past week . . . teaching second grade . . .I've been so tired! I come home and go right to bed My boobs hurt and I got my first twinges of morning sickness, but I wouldn't have it any other way =) First U/S is on thursday and I can't wait to see if we've got one or two little guys in there . . .

miyaya - I guess the biggest problem our DH's have is that they can't help us in any way and feel bad that we have to go through all that.
kala - yes, we did ICSI - it would not have worked without it. DH has a severe male factor resulting from a minor surgery when he was one. Good think is we knew early on so we knew that there is no way to try naturally which I guess saved us a couple of years and lots of disappointments.
Wolffie- HA! Do I think I will pee on a stick...lol...I am a poas addict! I have 20 strips that I bulk ordered months ago waiting from when I was supposed to do my FET. With my first 2 fresh cycles, I wasted so much money buying the regular hpts, that I decided to switch to strips. So to answer your question, I know I will, it is not a matter of if, but when.
