Neffi - you should definitely ask a doctor about hair falling out. That's not normal, but lots of things can cause it. -- I really hate that the number of kids we have will be really dependent on this sh*t instead of based on how many kids we decide we want. It sucks. People don't realize how lucky they are to have the number of kids they want.

Laura - glad you had a good weekend. Sounds like a lot of fun. My brother (age 22) is a really talented musician, living in CA trying to break into "the business".

Outlaw - all that moving must be sooo hard! I've moved cities twice - once to leave to go to college out of state - and then 4 years ago, I moved from the east coast of the USA all the way to Jerusalem Israel. Moving is really hard (new job, new friends, new place). I'm impressed that you've been moving so much!

Christy - big hugs. I know you are waiting too. It's hard to see all these BFPs while we are still waiting to start -- but hopefully some 'baby dust' will rub off on us.

Tess - I wish I could have been able to tell you that your BFP was a really BFP - I'm so so so so sorry that you got a BFN. --- Isn't the pubic hair debate MUCH more important than politics or sex-selection?

Rosie - sorry your cycle will be postponed - but like me, at least the postponement is for good reasons. Uncertainty is seriously the HARDEST part of this 'journey'. I had a great time yesterday too! Call me whenever you need to vent - or if you want to meet up again! Things are a bit nuts with the holidays now (my family is coming so soon and that will disrupt my life a TON!), Good luck to your husband with the interview process!

Lauren - I've been a Republican for a long time. I totally do NOT agree with the current way the part is moving socially to 'the right' to appeal to the conservative Christian voters - but in terms of fiscal policy, I'm definitely more 'right' than 'left'. (ie, I'm in FAVOR of gay marriage, pro-choice, etc but I agree with Republicans on money matters) The social issues have become so unnecessarily important in the federal elections, which is really annoying. I care so much more about taxes and budgets. I don't think politics should be so involved in issues like gay marriage and abortion. McCain is actually quite central. The main reason he picked the crazy Palin lady to run with him is because he couldn't appeal to the Christian right. OKKKAAAY... off topic! I don't think any president can do a "good job" - no one will ever be happy with everything! ------- yay for the cyst being gone! --- thanks for starting the pubes discussion. It's been very enlightening!

no BCP today - waiting for AF. Then I start another pack of BCP and start the FET after that. I started spotting already - hopefully AF comes soon!

btw - I *did* take a HPT this morning. Don't tell my husband! Obviously a negative, but of course, I 'dumpster dived' it this afternoon to check again. Still negative. No surprise, but still disappointing.

I had to get some tablets for the d&c today for thurs. My chemist came out to me and said he was so sorry, he hadn't known I was pregnant. I just burst into tears.

DH is also a Republican but unlike me he loves to talk politics. We are also not very happy with what's going on with the economy and don't see am answer in sight with any of the candidates. I'll leave it at that. It funny, at work I'm the only Republican. But they have learned that I don't get into political debates so they stay away from me on that. Well enough of the politics. Hi everyone,

After 4 month break, I am preparing for my 5th IVF. I am going to make some changes this time and hope to start soon.

To me, the IVF seems to be a series of trial and error. We have tried different protocols and did all kinds of tests. I sometimes wonder when it is my time

For this new IVF, I chose a new clinic, which is a about one hour drive from home. In July and August, I consulted a Chinese medicine doctor and took Chinese medicine for 6 weeks. I had a new hysteroscopy today and made an appointment with one of the most prestigious fertility doctors in the country. I hope all the effort will pay off.

I will wait after my consultation with Dr. Devroey, who is one of the inventors of ICSI, to decide when to start my next cycle. It is pity that it will be the sole appointment I can get from him because he will be retired next month.

For the time being, I will take Q10 supplements, do Yoga and go to acupunctures. Anyway, I am going to try my best to get pregnant this time.

Oh no NO Ninde, I just read the your update and am truly sorry! I never would wish a miscarriage upon anyone, it's shocking and earthshattering and my heart breaks for you tonight. I feel like someone died in my family too. My husband brought me sunflowers when this happened to us and I planted a rose bush in memory of my angel, plus I went to the store and bought all my favorite comfort junk food including popcorn and peanut m&ms. This is something we NEVER get over, but know each day will get easier for you and dh. Yes, so many others will share their personal story with you, maybe it's there way of connecting with us but know you are never alone and I will certainly listen too if you ever need anyone to talk to. I know it's impossible to understand, but I firmly believe that God brought us here for a reason and we must keep our faith in Him. Christy

Kamina, what a story! are you sure you orgasmed? I usually wake up just before (TMI sorry guys) I'm sure you are worried about nothing. Most of the stuff they tell us not to do is so we don't think that we caused the pregnancy not to stick. (that's what my RE said) It's more for you not for your baby.

Tuffy - congrats! That's awesome!

I just got my calendar and I'll be stopping bcps on Saturday. I have an hss Friday and starting Lupron tues 10/11. That means I start stimming 10/13. They put me on DHEA and I'll apparently be taking Saizen with my Gonal F and Menopur. Saizen's a growth hormone. Has anyone else tried this? It's for low responders and mostly women over 40. Of course my 31 year old self is most like a 41 year old self so this would make sense. Anyone?
