Just a quick post to say:

SueQiWi - I'm so sorry. I know how you feel. All I can say is take time to get yourself together, then when you're ready, get back in there and try again. Us ladies have to 'fight' to get our BFP!

Susivf1 - CONGRATS!!!

ForMaggie - Did your RE say that it looks like a chemical pregnancy? I've seen many women with low betas who turned out fine, so don't throw in the towel just yet. Think positive!

To all the ladies who just had their transfer, WELCOME to the 2ww!

To all the ladies who get their betas tomorow, GOOD LUCK! I look forward to reading good news!

To all the ladies who are stimming, my, how time flies. It seems like it was just yesterday that most of us were still on BCPs. Here's to many plump follies!

I hope everyone else is doing alright and not stressing.

As for me, my other 3 embryos didn't make it to the blast stage, so I have none frozen...........again. But, I'm not sweating it........it is what it is. I've been cramping a lot on my 2ww and trying to stay relaxed. I refuse to POAS. I didn't do it with my last 2 cycles and I'm not gonna do it this time....it'll only make me worry. My beta is next Fri, so I'll just wait.

God bless everyone. Good night Ladies!
Me - 38, DH - 40 (male factor)

2nd IVF - 3/08 - BFN
3rd IVF -5/08- BFP - THANK YOU GOD!!!

ForMaggie wrote:Bad news. While my beta came back positive, my hcg was only 34. I also learned that my estrogen is quite low, so my RE had me slap on an estrogren patch. I go back tomorrow for bloodwork. All signs point to a chemical. I'm mad.
ForMaggie-
I hope you are wrong about the chemical pregnancy. I know its easy for the rest of us to hope for you and its really hard to have hope when its happening to you. ForMaggie, you've been such an funloving, insightful, supportive and downright hilarious person on this board, I was SO looking forward to hearing some good news from you today. I understand you are mad and in some ways I'm glad you are mad, it means you are fighter. I hope your little embie is a fighter too and you'll soon be one of the success story we hear all the time about the ladies with the low betas. If it does turn out to be a chemical, please know that I'm so glad you were here throughout the cycle, I looked forward to your wit and humor each time I saw you had posted.

Smattison SD is right, it was she....the covert beta/Ultrasound getter :D

Formaggie I know it's frustrating, but don't give up until the numbers start going down. Corny on the Oct Mommies board started at 11 & now has twins! Hopefully you just need a little more E2. Stay your eloquently positive self girl!

SueQiwi I'm so sorry. Most of us know how it feels...just don't give up. Pamper yourself & take the time to heal.

Our board is having a tough go here...grow! stick!....lots of dust....

Sorry I've been gone. My mom has been ill.

[/b]ForMaggie: A 34, while lower than they prefer, is still a positive and means the embryo has implanted. That's good news! And it can absolutely keep going. The estrogen patch(es) may be just what you need! Don't give up on that little bean just yet! You never know. PMA is a HUGE part of this whole process and stress can do terrible damage, so take a lot of quiet time these next two days, meditate, pray, talk to it and get lots of rest. Good luck, hon. I am praying for you.

Wow, with so much going on around here, it's hard to keep up!

ForMaggie: It is way too early to give up hope now. There are a lot of us pulling for you and hope that beta comes up fast! I'm praying for you!!

SueQiwi: I know exactly what you are going through right now. I have had one of the roughest weeks ever after getting my BFN last weekend. It is so hard to think positive about anything after getting the news. I just keep telling myself that it wasn't in God's plan now, but I know that it will be in the future. Take time to heal, and know that it is okay to be mad, angry, pissed off, hurt, and anything else you feel. We are all here for you.

IMBlessed: Sorry you don't have any frosties, but reading these boards, frosties seem to be rare! Just have faith in that it won't matter because you have a little embie growing inside now!

Neffi: Best of luck to you!! We are ALL pulling for you and those perfect little embies! I don't blame you about not being nice. I don't plan to be at my next appointment either!! I'm sure they are used to hormonal women! :D

I want to thank all you ladies for the support throughout this whole cycle. I couldn't have held it together without you! I'm praying for you all! And hey, it's FRIDAY!!!

SD - Thanks...sorry I thought it was Rinnie.

Sorry I have been MIA but I am so stressed out...and trying to keep up the PMA. I am 6dp5dt and today I POAS (1st Response) and it was neg. I know the HPT's are evil but I have been doing this so long that it is worse when I wait. I have an 18 year old son that is giving me fits and just when I think all is going good and we do IVF something happens to stress me out. I got really upset the night before Transfer and then day of transfer I had to handle things that were not pleasent. I am so scared that I have ruined this cycle. Not to mention the ex got but blood pressure up (thru the roof) 2 days after transfer. My beta is Monday and I am so scared.

Sue - I am so sorry for your news. Take some time for yourself.

ForMaggie - don't give up!!! PMA makes a big difference. I listened to the song "Survivor" over and over (actually, still do) and let the little ones hear it to tell them to keep on surviving - so if it helps, you too can adopt my theme song!

Imblessed - I don't have frosties either but it doesn't matter - all that matters are the ones inside!

Smattison - sorry things have been so unpleasant - but focus on the little ones and keep thinking good thoughts!

Neffi - hope things went great at transfer! Can't wait to hear how many they put back.

Sus - hoping for another big beta today!

SD - good luck at your u/s Monday, although with your "insiders" I guess you already know things look good!

As for me, we were able to see the sac today! There is just one in there, but that is fine with us - they gave us the pictures. The RE said we are still not out of the woods, but that things look as they should at this point. I go back next Friday (actually every week for a while) for another u/s to make sure things keep growing and developing.

By the way, I just realized next week's appointment is on Friday the 13th - I am not overly superstitious, but thinking I may want to change that!

smattison:

My beta is Tuesday and today I POAS. Mine was also negative. I think I am going to have to stay away from them as it did not help my PMA this morning!

I have absolutely NO symptoms, just some slight cramping, but my breasts are not sore at all. Has anyone felt like this and still became pg.

Queenie...how did it go today??? I'll be stalking you

Indie... Have you heard antyhing on your embies today? I am praying that they are dividing on schedule and they will be back w/ you soon. You'll be PUPO...whhooohooo!!

Cwrj...Any news on how your eggs did over night? I hope all went well and they all made it.

SueQ...I am SO sorry. I wish I had some really lovely words to say that would make you feel better, but I think the only thing that will is for you to mourn a few days and get back in the game. I will be thinkging of you.

Neffi According to my time zone (if you are in the same) you are offically PUPO girl!! Whhooohooo!

ForMaggie... Its not over yet. Keep the faith. So many women have had lower beta's and have gone to deliver babies. I'll be praying for you.

Imblessed...Sorry your 3 other embies didnt make it  WTG on being strong. One week to go, you can do it.

Smatti... Your almost there, hang in there. Go pamper yourself to try and ease the stress. I myself LOVE getting my toes done, especially in the massage chairs. oh ya baby :P

LB... That is great news!!! Hey, i feel ya on the Fri the 13th thing. If I do a 5dt it will be on that lovely day!!!

As for me, I feel pretty peacefull today. I have finally exccepted that I cant control this and 2nd guess everything. I have to just go with the flow. Certain movements and positions are uncomfy today. I don't have alot of follies on the right side, but those bugers are pretty big (23,23,21).
It looks like I may be triggering today, I dont nkow if they will go by my E2 or not? If I do ovidril then the ER will be Sunday. I really hope that I can get 6-7 good ones. Heck, I'll even take a few, I just need one good one right :D
