Ready - congratulations on a great US!!!

Blair - which time zone are you in? Argh, I know the feeling of wanting to throw up you get so anxious. I was not bummed yesterday about not seeing a HB, I know it was too early I was bummed about not seeing a yolk sac. But I read up on it and it seems it can appear anytime and even if it was late forming it does not mean anything bad. So I am on pins and needles until next Thursday! Plus a couple of girls said they went for an US around the same time and saw just a gestational sac and everything was fine with their babies so I am trying to keep the faith. I can't wait to hear your good news, how far along are you again?

Lady - any news? Praying for your BFP!

mellow - how far along will you be in your US? I am still in the emotional rollercoaster and counting the days till next Thursday!

ladybugg~I'm so very sorry. I'm sure it will be hard to tell IM...my heart is broken for you both. How very disappointing.

Rio~ I will be 7 weeks when I have my ultrasound. It's just 2.5 weeks away. UGH...but on the other hand...going through what you did would make me a nervous wreck, and I have been there more times than I would like to admit. So I will wait it out....maybe not patiently, but I will wait. I won't have another beta, and no appointments between now and then. Thankfully, it will be busy between now and then, getting ready for Christmas, and dealing with our court case next week. I am praying for strength on that one...it will be hard on me to talk about what happened with our son, but once the deposition is over, I am hopeful that the tough stuff with that will be done. I'm thinking lots of baking between now and then...because I have to have some excuse to give when people comment on my pot belly...which is something I don't normally sport..so it's super obvious. How do you hide something like that from teenagers (they notice everything)?? Haha, this could get interesting. I am really in shock still from the beta numbers and that super high progesterone number. I don't know what to think about all that. I know they only put two back, but goodness these are numbers that might say there are more than 2 even! A little scary...I can't believe I have to wait so long to find out how many there are! I can't wait to hear your report next week...it's going to be awesome!

Ladybugg: I am so sorry. That is not easy, but it isn't your fault--there are so many reasons that these things don't work, we can never fully understand. But if the embies weren't viable, they weren't viable. I know it is going to be a heartbreaking conversation..but I know she will know that you are feeling the same. You have such a good and strong heart. Will you (they) be able to try again?


AFM: Got the call from my nurse/RE. She said he said, "sure". So we are adding Menopur! 150 a day....I feel better now. This will work. This will work. This will work. AF raised her ugliness today, so I will go in Monday for SnS and baring any cysts (please, no) I will be stimming Monday night. No time for pity party here: I am back on the band wagon.

Mellow- did you take Progesterone suppositories?PIO? I am curious, because last two times my RE put me on suppositories as well as PIO. This time only suppositories, which I am not sure how much my body is absorbing. I dont know if its old wife's tale or not, but my hubby wont let me near the oven since I am pupo. I guess its because of the heat not being too good for growing baby in tummy.(?) So this year, I will be the sous chef and DH head chef (help us, lord )

Margi- I am a strong beliver in being your owe advocate, glad you chked with RE about Menopur. This will be THE cycle for you!

Question for PUPO ladies: I have heard that many women have periods like cramping sometimes. I get slow stretching like mild cramping everyday on the sides (mostly right). its normal right?

Well not the best news but wanted to post. Only saw a sac which she said looked great and was in the right spot but only measured 5wk5d so she said for that its right on, but that's 4 days behind what they thought it would be. She said it could be because they don't know when it implanted so I go back next week to hopefully see heartbeat and fetal pole. Just worried and nervous still.

Blair~ I'm sorry you didn't come home with better news...but, it's not bad. Many times they measure small, and it's true that they don't know when it implanted. My sister had an ultrasound and found out she was pregnant...they told her she was just 6 weeks, and then 2 weeks later, she went back and they said that they either had measured wrong or couldn't see everything clearly because she was 2 weeks further along than they thought. I can't count the times I have had reports in the first trimester that they told me the baby was measuring a week or so behind....eventually all looked well. They were just small babies. So all that to say, hang in there, things will look better next time, and you will feel better soon. Keep your chin up girl. All this hurry up and wait can render a girl useless....it's pretty sucky!

Blair - are you 6w2d? Did she see a yolk sac or just the gestational sac? Crap, I was hoping you were going to have peace of mind. But if she isn't concerned then I think you should try and be hopeful that it will be ok. Lots of healthy babies measure a little behind. When do you go next week? I have been looking online and sometimes the yolk sac doesn't appear into 6 weeks, so you could be 2 days off. All this is hocus pocus anyway, because my RE calculated my dates different than my OB, so you could very well be off by a couple of days. Even babycenter and other sites differ on how far along are you. It is more like a guideline I think. The I found that 5.5 to 6.5 fetal pole appears and possible HB, and some people don't even get the HB until after 7 wks. I was hoping for a resolution but your result was not bad by any means. We can be here for each other through the horrible wait till our next US. I am nervous and freaking out too! We need to keep our PMA!

babydreamz~ I was on 1ml of PIO, and a suppository. They now have me off the suppository and only taking 1ml every other night now. At 381, it's higher now than it gets at the end of pregnancy even...so I think I have a bit to spare. Oh, and the cramping is normal...I am still cramping a lot, it's from the progesterone...and sometimes from implantation, but it would be hard to tell the difference.

Margi~ Yay! I'm so glad they are listening to you. This time it's got to work...ask them to do a double IUI...one the morning after trigger and one the day you would normally go in...that is how my RE did it and it makes the most sense to me...get those little swimmers in there the day before and of ovulation. They charged a little more to do it that way, but it was how they did it, so I didn't question. Did you have left over meds?

im scared ...u/s waiting period is scarier than the 2 weeks wait post transfer....my beta is 220 and 868 after two days...but never had a third bloodwork....im getting anxious...no pregnancy symptoms and still waiting for dec 14 for my u/s...help...never ending anxiety....

My Progesterone is 19...does anybody know, what is the range? RE has advised me to start Prometrium. I have not heard good things about it. I told RE that I dont mind PIO, but he said that Prometrium would work just fine.

Also, my TSH has shot up to 5.2 which was just 1.2 , a week ago. Again, RE said not to worry, increase in TSH was common because of all the hormones.

Estrogen is at 228.

babydreamz - My 16dpo (16 days past ER) estradiol was 3150 which is too darn high and I got OHSS, google estradiol level pregnancy. When you are pregnant I am pretyy sure anything over 10 is fine. You can google it. I would not worry about your other hormones, why did you get tested on that before your beta anyway? Didn't they have you start on prometrium right after ER? Are you on estrdiol patches or pills?

DJ-BJ - Sorry to say that yes the wait for the first US is hell, you have a great beta, we also only got two betas. Some women don't feel much this early, it will be fine, take a deep breath and picture your baby!

Rio- thanks for responding so quickly.
No idea why, but RE had already scheduled my appt for today for testing Progesterone (19) and Estrogen (228) and Thyroid-TSH- (5.2, thats high, it should be below 3.2)
I am taking Estrogen pill. Prometrium is pill form and Endromentrim is suppositories.
