Have been mostly lurking but wanted to post to say congrats to tuffy4u and wehavehope (I know you aren't celebrating yet, but we can't help but root for you after seeing that pink line, no matter how faint). Toniaa and Kamina, you're up next. Sending you lots of positive vibes.

Ninde - I'm so very sorry for your loss. I wish I had the words to ease the pain I know you are feeling right now.

jess - You have a fantastic PMA. I admire you and I'm so sorry for your negative.

Indigofire - I know how completely frustrated you are right now. We got very low numbers with our first 2 donor cycles and noone had any answers for us. We decided to try one more time, with yet a different donor and finally have good numbers. We have 12 frosties.

Outlaw - welcome to the board and hello fellow Military wife! We also might be moving in January but are keeping our fingers crossed that we stay put. DH is set to retire very soon and we want to stay here because we are so close to home.

blessed - looks like we are AF dance buddies. Crossing my fingers that she comes soon for both of us so we can get on those meds and get our ovens ready for those babies to come home.

AFM - Just waiting for AF. Spoke to the clinic and received the grading on our embryos. We have 4 early blasts that they did not grade and 8 full blasts, rated very high. One 6aa, three 6bb, two 6b-b, one 6b-a and one 6bb-. I'm not entirely sure what it all means, but I do think those are pretty awesome numbers. Hoping and praying that this is our time.

Becca-so nice to hear from you. I'm glad your doing well. It sounds like you have a great plan and your frosties sound absolutely perfect. Our best frosties was one of the ones we transferred this time and it was a 4AB which turned into a 4BB after thawing. So your frosties are as perfect as they get, congrats. Below I the info on embryo grading. Your lab uses the same grading system that ours does.

Blastocyst development stage - expansion and hatching status

1 Blastocoel cavity less than half the volume of the embryo
2 Blastocoel cavity more than half the volume of the embryo
3 Full blastocyst, cavity completely filling the embryo
4 Expanded blastocyst, cavity larger than the embryo, with thinning of the shell

Kerri, sometimes a 4 mnth break can be the best thing to help us renew our mind AND body and we're glad to have you joining us for the Fall cycle. Btw, I'm leisurely reading "The Cure for Infertility" and it breaks down TCM, traditonal chinese medicine. I think the clinic is based in Texas but it would be neat to visit them to see their perspective on combining IVF with chinese medicine. I know some have used acupuncture with IVF and had success besides why not renew our body to it's very best?

AFM: I got the keys today to the store, yipee making it more real that I'm getting more responsibilities lol. Also dh moved my desktop to my "arts and craft" room so now I have so much more privacy.... Sometimes it's the little things!

Lauren319-I read an article last week with regards to fragile x carriers and infertility and how high doses of Golic Acid is recommended. I don't know the correlation but was wondering if you had ever heard that? If not, it may be worth looking in to. I wish there was something I could do to help. Kamina - you saucey thing you Don't worry about the orgasms. There is a lot of debate about whether or not you should have sex/orgasm after transfer. My erotic dreams often end in an almost orgasm. I'm always disappointed that I never quite get there!

I am also going to look into a traditional Chinese Practitioner - probably a combo of acupuncture and medicine.

Feeling a bit knackered tonight so off to bed now. That lovely coffee yesterday didn't aid sleep last night.

Neffi- I am sorry you are feeling down with the waiting but unfortunately, waiting is huge part of the IVF journey. I wish we didn’t have to wait a day to get our BFP! ...about hair falling, same thing happened to me and I blamed the IVF meds for it but it could me low iron. Since I am taking regularly Folic acid (5mg per day) things went back to normal with hair loss. Keep up your PMA girl! (((hugs)))

Fruit- Hi there! I LOVE cooking and the only time I am ordering out or bring in catering is when I have more than 15p-20p invited for dinner. Otherwise it’s all on me. Standard a 3 course meal! From the starters to the dessert. I think I am turning into my mum!!! Oh my goodness!! That is good & bad...

Leora- Well, since we are sharing waxing tips .... I am a regular waxer! actually I have an appt Friday afternoon I don’t go completely bald down there but bikini line and above the hot spot I definitely do. and trimming of course! I find the Brazilian one quite ridiculous I may say! ...Besides the fact that DH likes it, I mean the waxing down there, not the Brazilian one , I have a thing with hair in general and I can’t stand them! If I had more than I do now I would definitely do laser everywhere! Legs, bikini, arms, everywhere. Thank God the hair especially on my legs are getting less and less every year. There are some places that I don’t even have hair now. Cool! I am sure you got more info than you ever imagine!!! Well, girls do happen to talk this kind of things all over the world! I guess everyone does whatever pleases him/her. And I definitely prefer this kind of topic discussions than sex selection and political believes...

Kamina- How’s the 2ww so far honey? Are you going to POAS! POAS! POAS! POAS!...my DH stopped talking about our IVF adventures. Actually he hates talking about it! if you ask me, I think is b/c he is disappointed with his friends not understanding him/us. They have stop asking him what’s going on and i believe he feels that they don’t care b/c they have never been in his position and they already have their families. Some friends even call him/us just to invite us to their kids christenings and kids birthday parties which I find very stupid of them. Not the fact that they invite us but that they ONLY call us to invite us to these events and not any other day. not even to say hi, how are you? ...anyways, if it helps your DH to talk about it with his friends then good for him. My personal opinion is that is good to agree with each other first on who to tell and when and then do it. But that’s just me and this is what we did.

Tess- Yay for coffee! I am glad you enjoy your coffee honey. Even though I was a coffee lover, ever since we’ve started IVF 2yrs ago, I have gradually stop drinking it and now I am only drinking decaf....which is NO where near the real thing!! but I thought a bit of detox won’t hurt. i got used to it now anyway...

Wehavehope- I think I see it!!!!! I think I see it!!!!! I am SO happy for you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! can’t wait for IT to get darker!!! don’t forget to post pics of your HPT!!!!! ...and keep up your PMA my friend! We should try download the 16 again to watch it tonight!..oh! and good morning babe...” and he goes “I ‘ve already done it babe...” yeap! we are definitely hooked! ....we watched the season finale of Weeds last night and I was WTF! what kind of ending is that?!....tonight we are watching the new Dexter episode and I am excited! I LOVE Dexter! I missed Dexter! ...hey! thanks for doing the AF dance for me! keept on dancing! ....YAY for no cyst!!!!! and for starting stims!!!!! You’ll be PUPO before you know it girl!!! and yes, take it easy on the exercise! Who cares about the weight! You are going to be preggo and you’ll have plenty of time to work off that baby fat later!!!!!

Sunshine- I have also read “the cure for infertility” but unfortunately besides few of the things written I cannot do much since we don’t have any Chinese centre/clinic that does offers that kind of Chinese Medicine treatment. Hell! We don’t even have a specialist for fertility acupuncture! Just normal acupuncture ...Good luck with it! Judging from the interesting things written, I believe you will find the visit to that clinic useful

Tamera-I understand what you are saying and I am not judging you! If you feel ok with your self doing this kind of selection then go ahead and do it. But you have to understand that this is a very sensitive subject for all of us going through infertility. Personaly, I would die to have even just one healthy baby! no matter what sex that baby is having as long as that baby is healthy that's all that matters to me. I would feel blessed to take whatever God send me. And again, this is just my opinion. Please don't take it the wrong way. Some of us don't have the luxury to even conceive a baby so the idea of someone having babies and then choose the sex of the 2nd or 3rd child is sounds like is coming from another world to me... No matter what, I wish you Good luck with everything my friend! and I wish you get your dream come true!

AFM- I am still waiting for my AF to come and have that talk with DH . Keep your fingers crossed for me that he agrees that we go for the natural IVF cycle this month!..

I FINALLY received a call from that job I was telling you about and after they done their screening of 150 applicants, (this is what the lady told me on the phone) they want me to go for an interview on Friday morning at 9:30. YAY!!! Oh! Boy! I am excited! I hope this job is as good as I expect it to be and hopefully they hire me! I even dreamed about it last night. I dreamed that they hired me and they were sending me to the UK for training. Keep your fingers cross and for this one girls! I seem to ask too much today! ...

Yesterday afternoon I had a nice surprise from DH ...he phone me from his car that he was on his way to pick me up and go at the mall to check some laptops and hang out....since this is the 1st week of the University semester he left his students leave early (1st lesson for this class he does another 3 different classes) he desperate needs to change his laptop and he is thinking of buying the apple air book which is a beauty! My brother has it and he is in love with it! of course my brother is an apple addict! ...and so is my DH now...apple Tv, iphone, ipad and now the apple airbook. Apple technology is amazing!!! There’s no doubt about it! ... but also it isn’t cheap . So we have done our research and we’ll see. ...we had a great time at the mall if not buying anything! We did window shopping and saw a few clothing and shoe shops and it felt like I bought something even if I didn’t! Cool! I have entered a new level of "none shopping" satisfaction!

Last night I had a nightmare that I had a positive HPT one day and positively a negative test the next day and when I went to test instead if yellow urine coming out it was red liquid. Ahhh. I know it's just a dream but geesh. Well since I could sleep anyways, I of course POAS again this morning. Well, I'll let you ladies be the judge. I'm not celebrating yet. I had this same situation happen last cycle and it ended up in a MC. So praying that this time is different.
