babydreamz~ you don't sound like a nut case And you should know the answers to your whys. My RE wants to see progesterone above 20, to maintain an early pregnancy. Did he not have you on anything before this..as far as progesterone? Most of us are getting shots in the booty the day of retrieval, until we get a positive confirmed beta and then until 10-11 weeks.

Thanks Mellow for not agreeing with me on the "nutcase" comment. I was on Endometrium 3xday since ER. I really dont mind the PIO shots...hell, I will gladly take it to get BFP and, but RE has prescribed oral pills (Prometrium) from today. Did your RE chk Progestorone level between ET and Beta?

Baby~ No they didn't check. I was on such a high dose that they don't feel the need to check even until the second beta. So my results of 381, (which are ridiculous, by the way) were done on 11 days past transfer. My progesterone level is making me look enormous. I can't believe how huge I look, and uncomfortable. Ah well, all for a good cause.

im scared ...u/s waiting period is scarier than the 2 weeks wait post transfer....my beta is 220 and 868 after two days...but never had a third bloodwork....im getting anxious...no pregnancy symptoms and still waiting for dec 14 for my u/s...help...never ending anxiety....

I agree with you 110%! Just a little reassurance for you...my betas were nowhere near where yours are and had a little scare with my second one on Monday...U/S today and everything is perfect! The wait from Monday until today has just about sent me over the edge!

Rio, I'm beginning to think it might be some OHSS rearing it's ugly head. I am growing by the minute. It's a lot of pressure and hurts. I feel like I could pop.

mellow - start drinking lots of gatorade now and eating protein and salty stuff, even if you think it might not be. Just to be on the safe side, also weigh yourself in the am and before bed and take notes. I hope you don't get it. I was stupid and thought I was getting better and wham it came back full force! Are you on aspirin? Because blood clots can be a concern!

Rio, If it's not OHSS, I don't know what it would be. I am huge. Weight shows up on me pretty fast...I'm normally 104. I haven't weighed in a few days, but I will do that tonight and see what the difference is from normal. It's pretty uncomfortable, and I look like I need to break out some maternity clothes. How embarrassing. haha.

Hi All I am feeling a little better now. I spoke with IM today and she is interested in asking RE to do a unmediated Frozen cycle using only Progesterone supplements. Has anyone ever heard of this??

Mellow: Thanks for the advice about the IUI. I will definitely ask him about doing a double. It can only help, right? As for meds...why are they so frigid expensive? I do have leftovers, and I had some donated (I am so blessed for that), but I am having to pay out of pocket for the Menopur and it will be close if I have enough Gonal-F left to make it through this cycle. Hey...what is this I am hearing about you feeling bloating?! I don't like the sounds of that.... I am worried about you especially in light of your high betas...did you weigh yourself like Rio says? gotta do it daily this weekend--promise me! And watch your urine output (don't mean to sound gross here) but you need to be drinking a lot of gatorade, V8 (yuck), etc and peeing it back out. Keep a close eye and if you are gaining a lb or more a day you need to let your RE check you out for OHSS. I really hope it's not...take it easy this weekend.

DJ-BJ: sorry the wait is so hard for your beta. Lots of women on here report no symptoms...December 14th will be here before you know it. But if the anxiety is too much, why don’t you call and ask for an additional beta? Or call your OBGYN and see if they’d do one to allay your concerns?

Babydreamz: Sorry. I don’t know much about progesterone level. And regarding E2, I just know about negative effects of too high levels--like Rio commented.
And no, you do not sound like a nutcase...just a woman going through this very stressful journey.

Ladybug: I am glad it went better than you had worried with IM. I have never done an FET at all so I can't comment there. Wishing you both luck however in whatever next step there is.


Rio: Instead of Mayor of Crazytown for the 2ww...you ladies “in waiting” for u/s can have President and Vice President of Nutcase Club (or Nutcaseville?). I like it. Are you feeling ok? Things slowed down with your new surge of OHSS symptoms?

AFM: Hanging in here with evil AF...why does she have to be so evil about it right after a BFN? But she can't get me down! I am back in the saddle and will be in REs office bright and early Monday morning ready for good SnS!

Margi and Rio~ I weighed last night...and had an extra 5lbs on me. This morning it's down to just 2.5. I am still peeing, but I get pretty full by the end of the day. I seriously look 5 months along. The more I am up doing things the worse it gets. I'm trying to eat lost of protein and drink fluids, at this point it's tolerable. I will see how things look this weekend and if it's still bad, might call RE on Monday to see what they think I should do...I don't know if they will want to take a look at things or not. I will for sure check with them. Rio how are you feeling...No more weight gain I hope? Oh, and Margi, how much Menopur do you need? Did you know that if you get your prescription at Walgreens specialty you can pay $10 for a special coupon and it will give you like $20 off per vial of Menopur. Anyway, I think I have a few left...let me know how short you are.

Hey everyone,

Well everything went great this morning at my ER. They were able to get 6 mature eggs out, I'm not sure how many total though. They are going to call me tomorrow morning to let me know how things go tonight and what day I will have my ET on next week. Very excited, I guess that 6 mature is a good number? I only need one right? I'll do more personals later, still a little sore and groggy. I am thinking of all you ladies though and want to thank you for all your encouragement!
