Interesting, I was told NO sudafed of any kind. I was taking Tylenol and Robitussin (no letters after it - just the expectorant). And, that's it. I'd be wary of the sudafed.Lady_J wrote: JDC... I just got the call a minute ago. three of the 7 eggs fertilized. I was so affraid that none would fertilize. I guess three is not too bad. They will put back all three because of my age. What do you guys think. Is three terrible. Dont forget I just turned 41. Am I setting myself up for heartache. My transfer is a three day. I wonder why some people are three and some are 5? anyway mine is three. Saturday. Then the big wait. I hate to wait on anything. I hate waiting in line at the grocery store or shopping or getting gas. I am so impatient.

Well, good afternoon ladies. I went in this morning for an US to make sure my mild case of hyperstimulation (HSOS?) has subsided and it has... My doctor (RE?) pointed out a tiny spot in my uterus that he thinks is a sign that I am preggers! Don't know for sure but the next 4 days until my PT is going to be soo looong.
Its so encouraging to see so many BFPs in the forum- congrats to all!

Rhonda, 3 is great, there was a women on the Aug board who had 4 fertilise, put them all back and is now almost 14 weeks pg with twins, so I think 3 is wonderful. I will keep you and your embies in my thoughts and prayers.............

Robin you are right.... it is Robitusin. I said Sudafed out of the top of my head, but I read my papers and it does say Robitusin. Yikes!!!! TG I didnt take anything for this darn cold... I may have taken the wrong med.
Karen... we are waiting!!!!!

mrscutter - Your 3 eggs are good. 3 times the amount you would normally have during a regular cycle. Will you be able to do a 3 day transfer? Edit - Duhhh you said you were. If you have a lot of eggs they will do a 5 day transfer to try and pick out the best. If you only have a few they will do a 3 day transfer. i did a 3 day last time and transfered all 3.
waiting for 4 - That is very promising that you are showing signs of preggers. Why couldn't they just do an early beta to fully confirm. I know they like to keep us in limbo.
So my nurse just called and of course my E2 levels went up. She said it wasn't a cyst but was a follicle growing. In that case if it is going by my regular cycle I should be ovulating in the next week and the follicle should disappear. They are going to keep me on lupron for another week or 2 and then hopefully after I O then I will be suppressed. I Doubt it but we will see. I just don't care anymore. It isn't like the Lupron shots are hard to do so I will just keep going on. I am in a really good mood right now so I am not going to let it get me down.

ANd to see how [/b]To Have Fun's estrogen levels were looking. Sorry is was not what we were hoping for. I do hope they go down after you O but it sucks to be pushed back. When do you go back next??????

As far as I can tell about the 3-day and 5-day ET, neither is a better situation. They would rather wait until day 5 to be able to pick the cream of the crop but if you have a low quantity, its too risky. Don't take that to mean that you have no hope using eggs that wouldn't last until day 5... just means they need their mom's help to keep going. AND embryo/blast quality does not translate into baby quality- a good thing to know
