Hi everybody,
Leorira, wow, you made an impressive record. I like the list from which I can see clearly who is at which stage. It helps to track better what happens in the board.
I stepped in this tread because I saw many are doing the same things as I am now; I started stims with a new protocol on 1.26. This new protocol involves a shot every 12 hours and 3 shots a day when GnRH antagonist starts. I will need great supports to work on my 3rd IVF attempt.

Lauren – Thanks Gal! Today’s sample was 26 million, so also really good. That makes sense! I was wondering why you were opting for only 1 day, but that totally makes sense! That’s really really good. And wtf, I hate that speculum. I’m so excited that we are doing the 2ww together. Are you going to POAS?

Kimber – ugh, I hate bad weather and traffic, but I’m glad you made it there safe and sound! Can’t wait to hear how the ER goes tomorrow! How exciting!

Margi – AWESOME! I’m so glad that it went well! So, California it is. Who are you going to work with? HAHA! Thanks for the blinky! I seriously wish I was a chicken. Seems like they are always pregnant.

Sweetpea – yes, my acupuncturist put me on those herbs. They are safe to take while doing an IUI. I made sure of that! Oh how fun to have a new do! I really need my hair done too!

Kynlee – have fun at the wedding! I hope you have a great time. Are you in the wedding? I believe you are the maid of honor if I remember correctly?

KRISTIN!!!! Yeah! This is so exciting! What great news! Do tell us more! Awesome. Your numbers are great! Your pregnancy date is actually based on the 1st day of your period.

Leora – totally, I agree. I just really want to see a line. I have never seen one in my whole life. Just once! Wow, that would drive me crazy! We schedule specific times for U/S and Bloodwork. They book in 15 minute increments, so they are super organized and I never have to wait. Seriously, they need to get organized! That is so exciting that you have a meeting for adoption! Amazing. It is good to be going down many paths. You will be a mother soon though!

Amanda1979- congratulations on getting 6 how exciting! I’m sorry I don’t know anything about the fluid. Let us all know when you figure it out. I know we’re all anxious, but you’re right, better to make sure it’s the best environment than try and rush. I hope you’re able to transfer, but if not, April is right around the corner!

Lou – where are you?

AFM: Okay, I’m officially pupo! Completed the 2nd IUI today and had 26 million sperm. Not as great as yesterday, but 10 million is good, so this was super great. I’m feeling really optimistic. My co-worker who is on maternity leave came into the office today, so I got to hold her 8 week old baby girl. Adorable. She’s a good friend and the only one at my office that knows what is going on, she’s always so considerate and asked how things were going. As I was holding her baby she said, she’s sending you good vibes…I know it. It was very sweet. I am just hoping and praying for that BFP. Can’t wait to start testing! I am thinking Feb 4…the morning. I am meeting DH in DC for a little weekend vaca and thought it would be fun to share the news with him then. We are going out to visit our favorite cousins and our best friends that just moved out to DC that weekend and those are the few people that I would share the news with so early on. Not sure if DH will agree, so who knows if we will end up sharing, but as you can see, I like to get ahead of myself! I am just so hopeful.

Amanda - 6 is awesome!!! Even of you end up doing FET it's right around the corner and it worked out for Ryann.

Tiger - I would love to POAS but I usually get AF before I get a chance lol. Your DS has sone good swimmers! I think this is it! I hope it's it for me too!

Kerri - That's alot of shots! Good luck with everything.

Wow... have I ever gotten behind! I've been sooo swamped at work it's ridiculous. I'm working 14 hr days minimum and still behind. I'm at work now. It's 6:30PM and I've been here since 7AM. I have a couple more weeks of this. :( This is why I haven't been posting very much. I apologize for being a "bad friend". I'm normally super loyal.

Sunshine12 -- I'm so sorry for your bfn but excited you are going to try again soon. XOXO

Hope -- I asked my RE about ovulating early and he basically said that was super rare. The ER is timed after the trigger to prevent this. During stims they are watching your LH levels and you won't ovulate without an LH surge. GL at ER! Sounds like some promising follies.

Sweetpea -- Love the pic! You two make a great couple. Damn, that sounds like a lot of snow. I hate driving to work in heavy snow. It already takes me nearly an hour to commute in good weather. I'm sorry about your headache. :(

LYD -- Awesome you are starting soon! Looking forward to cheering you on.

Margi -- Great news on your consult!!! What clinic in California are you using and how did you pick them?

Tiger -- WOW... sounds like you have super sperm this time!! Congrats on being PUPO! Once again, we're in the 2ww together. FX'd. This is sooooo your time!

Lauren1171-- What a weird cycle you had. I guess converting to iui is all you could do at this point. It's still a chance at least. Maybe you won't need another IVF.

Krcaja --Awesome news on your + HPT!!! So excited for you! Your ER day is ovulation day so if that was 1/11, then on 1/25 you were 4 weeks pg. I'm feeling quite good. A little bloated but that's about it. Thanks for asking! Did you have any symptoms at all in your 2ww? Cramping? If so, what days.

Kimber -- So ER is tomorrow? Good luck!!!

kynlee -- oh a free round of ivf would be wonderful. Damn, I wish I had insurance like that. Even though Illinois is a state that mandates infertility coverage, it leaves a loophole for companies that are self insured. Of course DH and I both work for companies that are self insured.

Sonya -- Thanks for that inspirational story! I appreciate you stopping by.

Darlene/penny -- Your beta must be coming up soon, right? Did you decide not to POAS? I never have but might this time as I am pretty sure it's not going to work. In other words... the shock will be a positive.

CJ -- I feel quite normal!!! Just a bit bloated with associated cramps but not unlike my BFN cycles. My one and only BFP, I had very distinct cramps from 7dpo-9dpo that was very localized to one spot and like a burning/pulling sensation. I'm sure that was implantation. I've heard people say they felt it on one cycle and not on another bfp cycle so I know the absence of that feeling doesn't mean bfn in itself. But I'd sure love to feel that again because this time I'd know what it was.

Leora -- Congrats on getting the process somewhat rolling to adopt! That's very cool. I'm sorry about your awful dentist appt though! After all this waiting... soon your cycle will be under way. I know you'll get a BFP this time! 2011 will be your year.

nwquiz -- I'm here! Sorry I've been a bit absent. I've been trying to read from my phone every night but too damn tired to post most of the time. Work has been kicking my butt!

Amanda -- Congrats on 6! Hope you get a great fert report.

Tammy -- Where are you?

Franny -- Crash any time!! I think of you often and miss you sooo much on these boards. Much love to you my friend.

AFM -- Well, I'm 3dp3dt of a single 8 cell good quality embie. It's VERY hard for me to have PMA because I've transferred as many as 3 x 3d embies in the past and even two 5 day blasts at one time only to get a BFN call on beta day. This may very well be the end of the road for us. So I've been mourning a lot. We're trying to crunch numbers to see if we can afford one last cycle. If so, then I would change clinics. It sounds terrible, but I may be getting an insurance settlement for an accident I was in 1.5 yrs ago. And I also have an old car to sell that I may be able to get $5K for. Problem is, it doesn't always start and I don't want to spend $ on a mechanic. I'm just so sad. I do have a shred of hope because I know it only takes one. It's just that I'm not a lucky person. Clearly. My mom's bday would be this weekend, so I think I might POAS on her bday. I know it might be too early for a bfp to show but maybe she's got a message for me. One of the spots where DH stuck me for the PIO is red, swollen, and VERY sore. I think it might be infected. Won-der-ful. I had a breakdown last night and told him I want to stop the injections now and not even go for my beta if I have a negative HPT that morning. Since I'm cash pay, it costs me $195 to get the stupid beta and p4 level. To top it off, my best friend isn't speaking to me or returning my calls and I have NO IDEA what I did. They know I just did IVF too and we haven't spoken since before I started stims. On previous cycles, this was someone I could share EVERYTHING with. Life pretty much sucks right now. Sorry to be such a downer. :( And I've still got work to do.

lou- keep up the pma, am sending all mine your way. remember it only takes one. and that one may split and you get two for one. i know the cost issue sucks big time without insurance. an in the same boat as you all cash pay. they ripe us coz for cash its 195 but if the bill insurance they get paid 28dollars. i hate infertility but to achieve our goal we have to keep our heads up and push on.
as for your friend maybe you should try to make contact and just ask if things are okay?she may be going through her own battle and is dying to talk to you but is scared, all the best.

(hugs) I am very sorry, Lou.

I had my first ultrasound today. I have 15 on my left and 11 on my right, no idea on the sizes but they were close in range with each other. It isn't uncommon for me to have that many on my right due to my pcos, though. Hopefully these are much better quality than what I make on my own. I have another ultrasound Saturday and add Ganirelix tomorrow night. Is the stimming end near? I am thankful that my husband has been more than willing to help me with the injections. He mixes the Menopur for me. I could do it, but I like that he has something to do in all of this besides his contribution in a cup.

Hope/Ashley: Good luck tomorrow with ER!! It will go great..can’t wait to hear.Image

Leora: Yes, we are hoping that DH gets to go the entire time...he is checking with work now to see if it is feasible. And I am trying to find a sneaky way to tell my unsupportive boss. I think I will say DH surprised me with a Valentine's trip. Will that work? The RE said it would be fine for him to fly out for a day to leave a sample...but I think it would be wonderful if we could both go through the week/10 days together. And I HEAR you about the clinic. Disorganization makes me nuts. Maybe you should post a sign in the room with the “rules”. #1-undressing should take no more than 45 seconds, Dressing: 1 minute. And provide a timmer. LOL. Etc....I am with you...I try to dress for easy-in-easy-out wear. WHOOHOO on the adoption moving forward...I knew it!! Steps are good! Mommyhood is getting closer on all fronts :-) And getting ready for AF...I have been waiting for this one..I get to give you...the adorable....dancing for AF....Image ImageImage

Kimber: ER tomorrow!! Yippee!!Image

Carol: I am with you...the clomid gave me KILLER headaches. :-( Hang in there. How many days are you on the clomid?

Kristen: That is awesome!! What a terrific beta!! You must feel so excited!! Do you go for a second in 2 days? Congratulations!!Image

Kat: Tomorrow is your turn!!Image

Darlene: You are right around the corner!Image

Lauren: Congratulations!! You are PUPO!! What a crazy mess..can’t find your cervix? HELLO...I have a pretty good idea where it might be! Ugh...but all sounds great in the end. Take it easy and let those swimmers find their target (s)!!Image

Amanda: Excellent about the 6 eggs!! whoohoo. Sorry about that fluid. But, I agree with you, best to be careful and put those babies in a good environment. You have been through enough...if you have to wait a little more to bring them home, it will be ok. Rest yourself up!! Sorry I don’t know anything about the “free fluid”. And really sorry about the pain. Is it related to the fluid? Take those pain meds and take it easy. Me? Short version of the story: I was doing IUIs despite only one tube because insurance benefits were maxed out and that was all we could afford. Then we were looking abroad for cheap 1 shot IVF, then I stumbled on fact that cap was lifted on my insurance benefits! The clinics in town don’t have the best results (pretty crappy) with old foggies like me so I went on a search for the best clinics and landed with one in CA. Pretty sweet!!! Get IVF covered by insurance, in beautiful location and vacation and baby to boot!

Kerri: Welcome!! Congratulations on starting to stim. 3rd time will be the charm for you.Image

Tammy: Where are you? Have they checked on those follies yet?Image

Tiger: Thanks for sharing my excitement. I am totally psyched. :-) SCRC is where I am going to make my baby! And what a great sample you have.. Congratulations on being PUPO!!! Awesome!!! Trip to DC sounds great...can’t wait for you to start the POASing ..this time you will be seeing 2 lines and you better post them for us addicts to see! ;-)Image

Lou!! So glad you are back!! Stinks about work overload. Do I need to call your boss or what?!Imageand sorry that so much seems to be getting you down. That is horrible about your friend. Maybe there is something going on with her that you don’t know and may have nothing at all to do with you? Your doubts and worries are all so normal. And we are here to hear anytime. I hope that you are able to relax some this weekend and visualize that little embie that is growing and sticking inside you!!! Image Thanks for the congrats. I am super excited. I started looking based on the top 25 clinics in the US (from SART #s) then looked more specifically at the clinics that had the best numbers for 41-42 and 42+ olds that took my insurance and had high #s of cycles. I also posted a thread asking Ghost and others for recommendations and voila! I had consult with doctor yesterday and will be on my way to SoCali at the end of the month. SCRC.

Sonya: Thanks for popping in on us and for that fabulous story!! Quads. OMG!!!

Sherry: Yeah!! How many days have you been stimming? Hard to know how close you are to the end without knowing the sizes...try to get that at next sns. Seems like you have a lot brewing which is awesome!!

AFM: On the phone with new clinic :D Insurance company, my OBGYN, etc today. I was a big fat chicken and didn't want to tell my current RE. So, for the moment I will start with my OBGYN who is the sweetest man in the world. I was so excited when his nurse said he's done this before. SO I am waiting for AF. She should show tomorrow or Saturday. I get 2/3 day labs and U/S and if all looks fine, I am on my way with BCPs. Never been so happy to take BCPs. LOL. How nuts--how to get pregnant: Start with BCP and then have no sex....trust us, we are doctors, it will work. BUT it will indeed. I am just happy as a clam. Don't even mind my cramps. Not one bit. This time in February I will be nearing my ER. She gave me a projected date of 3/1

Hi guys -

well I am starting stims tomorrow. 150 follistim+75 menopur+5 lupron. I am doing acupuncture as well.
Leora, to answer your question I am not exactly sure why they switched me from antagonist to lupron cycle. Lupron cycle is the most popular one and according to my embryologist who has a PhD and 30 years experience in this - its the one that makes the best quality eggs. So, the reason they had me on antagonist the first time around was because I overrespond and my doctor wanted the option of triggering me with lupron instead of HCG to avoid OHSS. It never came to that - they still triggered me with HCG and in the process found out that i seem to be able to handle high levels of estrogen pretty well. knock on wood - so as not to jinx it for this cycle. hopefully i can get through like last time by just drinking lots of gatorade.
we shall see how it goes this time - part of me wishes they just stuck to what worked before. But i really trust my embryologist - in this clinic she calls the shots - not the RE so much - which is not even an RE in my case, but an OBGYN. if she says she can get better eggs from me through lupron protocol, then more power to her! I hope she is right. I guess i'll find out in 10 short days! crazy!!!

Lou- i am sorry you are having such a miserable time at it - with everything coming together - your friend, your work, everything ...urgh... you know what - i think this is a perfect setup for a happy ending! i think its going to be miserable and you are not going to feel any different and then - boom! you'll have a positive beta!!!! i think that's exactly how it is going to go down!

Hi girls...
Margi...I go in to get those follies checked finally in a about 5 hrs and of course, I can.not.sleep. I am sooo nervous. Bill took the day off and we are taking Zach to the museum and lunch so I wont be on here all day, but will report back tomorrow afternoon. Tomorrow marks the 3rd year anniversary since they put Zach back in my belly...so we are sorta celebrating. lol Only you girls could possibly understand that. I'm sooo happy for you and your 8 day trip to Beverly Hills...this is SO going to work for you!

Lou...I cant wait till your 2ww is over and we finally get to celebrate your BFP! I have such a great feeling! I agree with LYD10...you are going through all this hell...just to be able to celebrate in the end. I am very sorry about your friend. I hope work eases up for you, too.

Lauren...I am so sorry about the speculum nightmare and that they converted you to IUI...but this WILL work! Keep the faith girlie! You are PUPO!!! I hate the speculum, too.

Sunshine...I am so sorry about your BFN...but am glad to see you jump right back in...that has always helped me to get through it, too. Good Luck!!!

Amanda...6 is awesome! I am soo thrilled for you and cant wait to hear that fert report later today. Praying for you that the fluid is gone and that you are finally going to be PUPO and then BFP! Hope the pain has gone away now and that you're feeling better.

Samantha...I must have missed what happened...but it sounds like some pretty bad stuff. I am really sorry. Speaking from experience...you should never do a cycle when going through a lot of stress. I have a personal track record of never getting pregnant when stressed...but that is me and my 2 cents. Good Luck with your decision. Praying for you and your cousin.

Kristen...Yayy!! Congrats!! I am sooo happy for you!!

SDtrying#2...Soo glad that you are finally stimming along with me. We wont be too far apart.

Kimber/Ashley...Good Luck with ER! Let's get lots of eggs!!!

Carol...OMG, Clomid + Sickness = my DH is lucky to still be standing. LOL Pure Evil. It was really hard on me...and him. The headaches were the worse.

Kerri and Brit1612...Hi and Welcome!

Tiger...Yayyy for IVF and good numbers, too! Hoping and praying that this is it for you! You are such a trooper and so deserve this. Congrats PUPO!!!

LYD10...Yayyy for joining us stimming girls! There looks to be a lot of us this stimming and doing ER/ET this week and next.
I'll be following your lupron results...since that is what I was always on...and now we are doing a really weird combo of clomid, follistim, and ganerilix.

Leora...I always undress, hand Zach a snack/toy in his stroller, and hop on the table in less than 10 seconds flat. lol That's crazy that it is so disorganized over there. I usually make my appt the last one of the day at 9:45 (old clinic) and now 8:30 (new clinic)...cause we have a 1 hr drive and I always have to take Zach with me (which I hate to do). It's always dead at that time...and they are always just ready to get me in and out the door. I was once in and out in 18 mins...from sign in, to bloodwork, to ultrasound, and to meet with the nurse for instructions. Usually it is 30-45 minutes though. When do you expect AF? Yayyy on the adoption meeting!!! :D

Kat...Good Luck on your beta! Hoping and praying for good news! Love the picture! Very cute couple!

Sherry...Sounds like we are going to be very close in our ER dates. Bill always likes to help mix the meds, too. lol Do you have a SnS today too?

Franny...You need to crash more often...I miss you! How are you?!

Kynlee...I love weddings...have fun!

Jkulab...Triggering? Yayyy!!!!

Penny...Hope you have some good news to share with us today. Praying for you!

Baby Dust and Love to all!!!

Wow, this board has been active! Sounds like I have a lot of catching up to do! I probably won't be able to sleep tonight anyway.. firstly, because of my insomnia, and secondly, because I have my ER in just a few hours!! (8 AM PST) So of course the excitement will keep me awake.

Brit - I totally understand. I grew up with 2 sisters and a brother, so we have a pretty big family. Things were always fun growing up. Good luck saving up and trying for that #2! I want 3 kiddos myself, but we'll see how far we get.

Jeib - are you triggering tonight? how many follies do you have now?

Tiger - congrats on being PUPO!! Enjoy every minute of it! 35 million?? Holy moly! As for the sore boobs, I asked my nurse practitioner and she said it's completely normal because of the high levels of estrogen. Phew. The pressure in my abdomen definitely increased over the last 2 days, especially after the hcg trigger for some reason (and boy did it sting!), but I'm not complaining. :)

Kimber - my ER buddy!! I'll definitely be thinking about you in a few hours, too! Good luck tomorrow! Let's try to keep each other sane during the 2ww :)

Margi - that is so so so SO exciting! I'm sooo happy for you! California is the place to be (and make babies!!) haha, but I may be a bit biased :P

Kynlee - yay for picking up your baby in a box in a few hours!! Have fun at your sister's wedding!

kcraja - I am SOOO happy for you!! Yay, BFP BFP BFP!! And oh my, what a GREAT beta number!! Great to hear some awesome news on this board! Hopefully there will be a lot more BFP's to follow around here!

Kat - today is your big day! Hoping to hear some excellent news from you in a few hours!!

Carol - so sorry to hear about your headaches from clomid. what a bummer. I had some headaches from follistim, but they weren't horrendous. How much longer on clomid?

Sunshine.12 - wow, that was quick! So glad to see you back at it. This HAS to be it for you! Tons of baby dust to you.

Leora - no worries, that's what I figured about the time difference. I should mention the dates instead to make it less confusing, huh? :) Our clinic's system is actually pretty good. They strictly go by their appointment times and I'm usually in and out in a half hour. YAY on getting the process of adoption started! How incredibly exciting news! Eek, 4 filings? no bueno!

Lauren - yikes, sorry to hear about your horrible experience. But yay, congrats on being PUPO!! :D

Amanda - yay on having 6 great eggs! sorry to hear about the fluid problem; hopefully it gets resolved by today. But if not, don't fret; April isn't too far. I'd wait on doing the transfer then as well. Good luck!

Kerri - wow, that's a lot of shots! which protocol is this?

Lou - oh, aren't you the sweetest!! :D Thank you for asking your RE re: my ovulation worry. They weren't monitoring my LH, however. Just the progesterone. But I still feel massive pressure in my lower abdomen so hopefully all my eggs are still intact. So sorry for the way you're feeling. Try to keep that awesome PMA of yours. Try not to stress that lil snuggler of yours. So sorry to hear about your hectic work schedule as well. :( Everything will turn out okay though, don't you worry. Take a nice, long bubble bath to help you relax :)

Sherry - wow, 26 already! because of my pcos, my RE started me off on a medium-low dose of follistim, so I had a pretty slow start with only 5 follies on each side. I have 20 measuring 10 and above now, but most likely only 8-12 follies with a mature egg. I'll find out during my ER tomorrow, I guess. Good luck to you!! You'll be triggering in no time!

LYD - yay on starting stims!

SD - happy to have your social-self back! Yay on starting stims! What day are you on?

Samantha - I am SO SO SO very sorry to hear about your cousin! :( :( I understand this is probably a very difficult time for you, so if you feel that you need to take some time off, now would be the time since you have yet to start. I have your cousin in my prayers.

Tammy - Have fun celebrating tomorrow! How very exciting for you and your family! Good luck on the follie check tomorrow. I'm sure they're cooking up nicely in there.

AFM - ER in a few hours!!! I have to be up at 5 and leave home by 6 to be there by 7 to prep for the ER at 8! (phew!) Needless to say, I'm a little too excited to sleep. I am hoping for the best! I have to go to my 4-year-old niece's princess birthday party this Saturday.. the same day my sister is going to announce the gender of her new baby that's cooking in her belly *sigh* SOO happy for the new addition in our family, but it'll be tough, especially if people ask me why I'm not drinking. But hopefully in a couple weeks I'll be as happy as a clam and join the pregnancy club.

Sorry if I missed anyone. I'm rooting for you all! Baby dust all around! <3

Re: Winter 2010-2011 Cycle Board

Post by leorira11 »

Kristin - YAY! That's a great number! What's next? Another beta (personally, my doc doesn't do another if the first is so good). When do you get an u/s? Your retrieval date is exactly 2 weeks pregnant. So you are abuot 4.5 weeks. You should see a heartbeat around 6.5 weeks - so another 2ww! But this one is much more fun!

Kat - I totally understand wanting to know so you can plan the next step.... I hope you get a great surprise today. I *already* have plans for what I'm going to do if this cycle is BFN and I haven't even started yet....

Lauren - even though it's not how you wanted it to be, congrats on being PUPO! Anna had an IUI because her doctor noticed she was ovulating when she went for a WTF appt and she is 10 weeks pregnant now! I know that hearing other people's stories doesn't always help, but there is hope. Do you have a beta date?

nwquiz - no picture? Okay.... but now I'm curious! Are you a celebrity? :D Celine Dion did IVF, Mariah Carey did some kind of IF treatment, Jewel tried for 2 years, etc --- these people have to be on message boards somewhere! I know on BBC there are some famous people, who try to keep their identities under wraps! So.... are you really Michelle Obama or Paris Hilton?

Amanda - 6 eggs is great! Did you get your fert report? Are you going to try for a 5 day transfer or a 3 day? I'm sorry you are in so much pain. I don't know anything about the extra fluid, but freezing all for later sucks. I know it's probably for the best, but I hope you don't have to!

Kerri - welcome! I know you are on the Jan board too, right? The list is time-consuming, but I think it helps everyone. I mess up a bit, so if I get something wrong, just tell me and I'll correct it!

Tiger - Another PUPO lady! beta date? Someone in my office also just came back from maternity leave, but I couldn't handle holding the baby. Everyone thought I was rude (most don't know about our infertility, although everyone knows about my twins and my miscarriage - which should be enough of an explanation!) Kudos to you on being so strong.

Lou - I'm sorry work is so crazy! I actually have very little work - because most of our clients are on the east coast and snowed in! I'm in charge of English speaking clients at our firm, and my boss asked me why I had no emails/phone calls to deal with. I explained that everyone in New York/Boston/DC were snowed in! He couldn't understand..... it's about 60F here! :D I hope 2011 is my year..... that's what I said about 2010.... plus, the world is going to end in 2012, so I'd better get started now, right?

Lou - I am so sorry that things didn't go so well this cycle. I really really hope you get good news. I am so thankful that money isn't an issue for us with our IVF (since my insurance pays for it). I hope you can find some way to pay for another cycle if that's what you decide to do. I really hope this isn't the end of the road. I wish there was something I could do.... I don't have any leftover meds (I sent mine to Margi, but maybe she doesn't need them anymore because of her insurance changing - so maybe ask her).... Let me know if there is anything at all I can do for you...

Sherry - I don't trust my DH to mix my meds! :D He has to do the PIO for me, but I'm always afraid he'll mess it up. I fill the syringes for him. I don't know why - I guess it's because I'm a control freak! I usually take 5-7 days of Ganirelix before triggering, if that helps

Kynlee - 80s prom? wow. Is that now so retro that it's cool again? :D (when can I mention that I was only born in 1986, so I don't remember the 80s.... or the 90s!). There are lots of 'inspirational' stories of women who adopt and then get pregnant. I'm not hoping for miracles, just a child I can bring home. Either way (IVF or adopting) and I'll be happy.

Margi - DANCING PENGUINS! Yay! I'm sorry your boss is so unsupportive. Mine is a man - and he wants to hear as little about my treatments as possible. So I just say I need such and such days off and he agrees! That's good, I guess. Everyone else in my office is a big gossip, so during IVF cycles (when I need S&S in the morning) I get "stuck in a lot of traffic". It's a hard lie sometimes, since another woman comes from my neighborhood as well. She always says "wow, I was in that tunnel just a few minutes ago and there was no traffic"...

LYD10 - congrats on starting stims! I'm also on antagonist because my e2 levels get really high and they want the option of triggering with Lupron... but in 2 cycles, that never happened. I always triggered with hcg.... oh well, I'm doing antagnoist again now - but if (hopefully not!) I have to do this again, I'll ask about switching to Lupron. Did you get lot of good eggs/embryos with antagonist? I've gotten 14/18 eggs and had 6x3d/3x5d embryos.

SD - we applied to adopt domestically (through the government) about 6 weeks ago. Yesterday we got a call from a social worker that she has been assigned our case and we go meet with her on Feb 7! I know this is only a small step and adopting is still far off, but it's nice to start!

Wannabeamum (Samantha) - I am so sorry to hear about your cousin. That is so hard. I really hope things start to turn around.

Tammy - You bring Zach to the IVF clinic? My clinic has a strict "NO KIDS" policy, which I kinda like now, but will probably annoy me if we every decide to go for a second kid. BTW, I stalk you on facebook now - day at the museum sounds so fun! I totally understand celebrating ET days - but Zach might think it's weird when he's older. As weird as it is to think of your parents having sex, think how weird it would be to think "on this day, x years ago, my mom had surgery and my dad jerked off into a cup - and I was conceived in a petri dish"

Hope (Ashley) - we are moving fast! Lots of exciting things....I always wanted to have a few kids (not a million, but at least 2, probably 3 or 4). I'm the oldest of 4 and I love having brothers and a sister (although they used to be a big pain!). Now.... I don't know.... I'm hoping for at least one! 4 fillings sucks - but I'm feeling much better today!

AFM - no BCP this morning! Teeny-tiny step in the scheme of things, but I'm trying to take things one-day-at-a-time. Come on, AF --- ruin my weekend, please! :D TMI, but we don't DTD while I have my period and I get really uncomfortable while stimming plus I don't like to DTD in the 2ww -- so we are trying squeeze as much fun as we can into this weekend!

Leorira- you are so funny, and no am no celebrity. if i was i would not be begging for meds on this board. IVF would be all taken care off with no cash stress. on that note if anyone has gonal, follistim left over i will gladly take it. you see am not ashamed of that game   . its deaper than that and it deals with color and location of where i live.
