wannababy, dont worry im sure they'll make it. i only had two that fertilized but they held on and they are all snuggled in (hopefully). I was gutted at first when i found out but then i thought, there must be a reason why the others didnt work, not meant to be and all that. fingers crossed i will be thinking of you.

WISCONSINGAL: found this response on a "low fert" thread on another forum. Will pass on anything else i find.

Cindy,
It could be the lab. When I first did IVF we only got 7 eggs, only 2 fertilized. After switching RE's and IVF programs, we had 100% fertilize. Because it was such a dramatic increase 33% to 100%, the only thing that can answer that is the lab. I had also heard from others who had poor fertilization at my first REs office.

Also could be egg/sperm quality. Could be that you stimmed too long or too short. There are so many variables in IVF. Definately discuss the issues with your RE.

Jovigal-thanks for the commiseration. I hope you are right, and we will not need to worry about not having any frozen!

Wannababy-I was disappointed with my numbers, too. Mine did hang in there, and I'm sure yours will too. I'll be thinking of you on Thursday.

I've been doing the pio shots myself for the past few nights (dh out of town for work) and I have to say that I think I do it a little bit better than dh did! I won't tell him, because I think he likes feeling as though he's a part of this process!

Take care!!!

Hey guys, thanks to all of you for your support. This morning I broke down and had to call my mother when she picked up the phone I just began to cry so hard. She was asking me what was wrong I said I had no frozen embryos from my cycle. So the two that are in me is the only hope.
Today is the first day when I felt like I am about to start my you know what. I also have this heartburn that will not go away, no matter what I eat.

Vickyyou and I test on the same day. I wanted to purchase the PG test today so bad and held off. I was thinking to take a test on Thursday. What is the earliest for those things? Does anyone know? Also, how long does it take for the embryos to implant? Is it 3-4 days?

Everyone I will keep you in my prayers and hope that all of us will be pregnant so we all can have the BIGGEST BABY shower in the world

Love,
Anya

Casy- by the sounds of it your largest follie should be around 20 by tomorrow - which is perfect. Good luck with your appt.

JSM7502 - I laughed about your PIO shots - my DH is doing okay but not as smooth as the nurse demonstrated after our ET. I wonder if I couldnt do better myself!

Jovigal - I am sure your clinic will sedate you enough to avoid discomfort. Good luck with the EC - I think the PIO shots are a lot less painful than the stim meds.

Wannababy - my fingers are crossed for your little embies- good luck with Thursday

To all those ending the 2ww I am so excited for you all, cant wait to read about all those BFPs.

I had two blasts put in today, 2 frozen (and 2 still in the dish to wait and see). Very nervous and excited - hope that reading about all your test results will distract me from the evils of HPTs!!!

Roll on test day 24/11
ME - 35 DH - 37
TTC - 6 years
IUI - all BFN
IVF 1 - Nov 06 chem
FET - May 07 BFN
IVF 2 - March 08 BFP

Anyaf, I think Thursday might be a little too early, I would probably wait until Saturday or Sunday...From the day of ER it takes about 7-8 days for embryos to implant, and then the HCG starts increasing slowly and the most sensitive HPT's do not detect it until after 20mlU/ml. So, as you might have read, there are some girls who tested negative on HPT's the day of the actual test and the blood test was positive....so, who knows!!!!!! I would love to have the exact answer, I am trying to find that myself as well, as a matter of fact, I gave in and did an HPT tonight, of course it was negative, and the worst part is that I knew it couldn't be positive this early, but still I was a little bit dissapointed  ....so now I will try not to do another one until blood test....

Good luck to everyone!!!!!!

wannababy, PMA girlfriend! I just know those embies will make it! I will pray that they continue to grow big and strong!

sassynlv, I did BW today too! I was at the GV clinic today though. It's only 10 min from my house so I go there for BW if it's a weekday. So they do test for HCG on day 7, I knew it. You are right, they are always cheeful when they call with results. In Aug. when I got my BFN, they sounded sad with my day 7 call. Stay positive, I'm sure there is a chance HCG could show up strong on PG test day. Could just be that it is weak today. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you!

Sarah, congrats on ET! I hope the others will make it to the freeze. :)

Jsm, I had twinges and swelling like feeling last Sat night as I was going to sleep. I don't know how long it went on because I fell asleep. That was about 2 days after transfer. My embryos were about 8 days old. The twinges are brief and few right now, but the swelling sensation in my V area and above has been constant all day today. I can only guess that it's something going on with my cervix area and blood flow to my uterus. Soreness in my BBs has increase since yesterday too. I hope it's PG symptoms, but like people say, it could be the Prog. :?

I'm sorry I don't remember who asked, but the progesterone and estrogen should suppress AF from coming. So you can test neg and not have AF until you stop meds. When I got my BFN, my RE told me to stop meds and I should get AF within a few days.

Well, girls...it appears my fears have been confirmed. My RE called me tonight and confirmed they do draw HCG on D7 (he was surprised i figured it out  ) for research purposes. Mine was neg  . SMALL chance it will increase by Fri but he says doesn't look good. Well at least this time i actually had ET! So at least the last 3 days of my 2ww have become much less of a cliffhanger. :? I actually feel some relief in knowing what is up, even if it is neg. Is that strange? I don't do well with uncertainty.

RE is recommending (assum PGT neg on Fri) that i do 3 stim/ER in a row w/o ET-- freezing embies just after fert. Hoping to get about 20 to 2PN. Then doing one big thaw a month later and take best quality blasts (as we have had no nl embies so far) to ET. Anyone heard of people doing that before? I have a great RE and i trust his recommends so we will probably give it a shot...but has anyone done/heard of it done?

I was REALLY hoping that these embies would stick as last ER i had a freak reaction to meds and stopped breathing in recovery--turned blue and the whole deal. (Mia-- woke up with both REs---and about 6 other staff members standing over me  ) Know it won't happen again---they will use much less meds (which means much more pain), and they took REALLY good care of me, but SCARED(!!!!!) to do again. Freaked actually. Not to worry those for ER soon--- in 12 years the clinic had never had this happen...and then i came along  . So, looking at 3 ERs in a row is a little more than i can really absorb right now. Maybe i will take a few months off....

So i am sending all my sticky baby dust to all you fellow 2ww and desperately hope for BFP for all!!!

Sorry for the post but I really feel down today. I did some reading online  about different symptoms people have during 2ww and get BFP. Most of them had sore boobs, they got bigger, and the soreness was increasing....
I don't feel anything. Mine were sore for several days after the trigger shot and that's it. :(
I still have cold, so I'm in a bad mood as you can see.
Sorry, again.
have to go to work.

Thanks Cinders, I had my bloodwork done at docs today and have posted it to the hospital so as long as it arrives before ten am thursday, i will get mey results that afternoon.
I am so worried this is worse than the 2ww,knowing its positive but may all be over tomorrow, and i can't start another cycle until the new year.

sassynlv, keep your hopes up, my test on 13dpt was only 7.6, I got a negative on the HPT, we had armed ourselves for the worst but we have a little hope still left.

Even if tommorow is a negative i see this as a step forward as i know that they do stick and will keep trying.

Good luck to everyone my thoughts are with you all.

Apparently there are many of us that didn't start their day very well, I am one of them too. As you know I also caved yesterday (even after telling KF 06 it was too early, don't ask me why, apparently my mind plays this games with me  ), and it was negative. Even when I knew it might be neg due to being so early, I am very sad anyway......

Hope everybody else is doing better.....

Tonia, good luck today on your test, wish you a BFP!!!!!

Sassynlv, I am sorry about that PG test, hope next one on Friday is BFP!!

Beachbaby, good luck on your test!!!, fingers crossed!!

Beachbaby and Tanya Good luck to you girls, lots of prayers!

Sassy - I am truly very sorry...I am so proud of you for keeping this positive attitude. I would not be able to be like that.

Vicky - I feel like you are my sister because we test on the same day. Is that true that progesterone and estrogen pills/shots keep you from having a period? Because I keep on going to the bathroom thinking that I have started and check myself every five minutes. My boobs are getting very full and sore in the past two days so I hope this is a good sign. But my BB keeps on having a pulling sensation and sometimes in my overies I would have a sharp breathtaking pain for maybe a second or so. Do you experience any of that?

Lots of love and baby dust to everyone!

Anyaf, I never heard of that from my RE, but I read here on this thread that the hormones prevent you from having your AF, I don't know, me too, I keep checking all the time to see if AF arrived like crazy.....
I guess we'll have to be patient (something mother nature didn't bless me with  )
