Molly and Barb...Good luck with BETAs!!!! Let us know. We want to see some more BFPs!!!
Anxious...They collected 28 eggs and 20 were mature. I've been told that that is a lot, and that is why I may have OHSS. But my ER was January 28th. I would have thought I'd feel better by now. I felt good for a couple of days, almost back to normal. Then all of the sudden I started getting bloated and got a bad pressure in my abdomen. RE says that I need to drink 2
32oz bottles of Powerade Zero per day now until Beta which is Monday. RE said that my ovaries my not get back to normal for another 3 weeks or so. But they just don't seem too concerned with OHSS. I know I need to be on bed rest, but the attorneys I work for will not tolerate another day off. I seem to feel better the longer I'm in bed and on my back. But then I have to get up and come to work and I get worse as the day goes on.
To top things off, I still don't have power (which means no heat or hot water) and my house is like 50 degrees inside. We had to stay at DH's aunts last night. Our power went out Wednesday night at 11:30 p.m. and they are saying we may not have power until possibly Sunday!
Anyway, I'm ranting again.
Regarding how my RE handles BETA...My RE draws the blood at 8:00 a.m. and sends us out for breakfast (for an hour), and then come back to RE's office and they give us the results face-to-face. They said some people just sit in the waiting room for the hour, but I just can't imagine sitting in there and trying to guess why the nurses are looking at us and guess what they know. That would be nerve-racking.
I hope you all have a great day!
