Mellow -- How are you doing?

KJM -- MY DH's seizures have so far been controlled on the medication he's on. He follows up with the neurologist in 6 months unless he has another seizure. Thanks for asking. Congrats on getting the braces off!

Reenie -- Great hearing from you! How are the twinkies doing?

Annashope -- You look fantastic! So beautiful. Yes, my bump is growing every week.... I love it!

Amanda-- Congrats on 30 weeks! Wow, you are sure getting close. I'm so sorry you're still itching though.

Ryann -- So happy you passed the glucose test! I sure hope I do. Your bump is adorable.

Blair-- My belly is coming along...lol. I'll have to post a new pic this weekend. When is your next u/s triplet mama?

AFM -- My aunt and cousin's live in gf are throwing my baby shower. It will be on Aug 7th at a golf club. The problem is, my cousin is thinking about breaking up with her soon. They've been living together for two years and have been dating for 3 years. They are both turning 24 soon. I found out he likes a young woman (21 years old) whom he met at work. She's also a design school student. This could end up in a lot of drama! The gf doesn't have anywhere to go if he breaks up with her. Her family is in Texas now and there's no way she can afford an apartment on her own. Other than that, my dear grandmother has been in the hospital since Tuesday with congestive heart failure and fluid overload. I'm really worried about her. My mom was a paraplegic and we lived with my grandparents since I was 3 years old. They are like parents to me. The social workers are trying to send her to a state nursing home because they don't think she can take care of herself. Which she can't. But I help, my aunt helps, and my grandfather is in good shape and he helps her too. She said she'd rather die than go to a nursing home. I just feel so bad.

Hey ladies,

Ryann - your baby bump looks great! You can really see the separation - so cute :D

Lou - I'm so sorry to hear about your grandmother. I hope she gets better soon and you sort something out with living arrangements for her. It's such a worry when relatives are ill.

AFM - a little update - one of the nurses from the Unit rang me today to say that she won't be around on Thursday to do the scan! I was thinking she was cancelling and putting it back - I seriously couldn't handle waiting longer! Anyway she asked if me and DH could go on Monday!! Woohoo only 3 more sleeps!! I can't see me getting much sleep on Sunday!

Mellow: You and your family are in my prayers daily.

Leora: How is the blood sugar? It’s gotta be hard for you to keep it level with all the puking you are doing. :-( I vote with Ryann...don’t wait until your appt if you don’t have to. Get some Zofran.

Kjm: Congrats on getting rid of the braces! Glad otherwise all is smooth.

Reenie: Thanks for the suggestion regarding bed rest and exercise. I am definitely feeling myself weaken. My book about multiples has exercises you can do while in bed and I have started them. Wow, your babies are almost 8 weeks old!!! How awesome...feel free to share photos.

Annashope: Glad your son got his cast off. Whew. And just in time for summer. Love your bump picture!! And baby shower in less than a month! How exciting. :D

Vicky: Yes, that 2ww sure does go slowly. What is the date for your u/s? OH! I see your new post. You get to go on Monday. Awesome!! How far will you be at that point?

Lou: So sorry to hear about your grandmother. It is very sad indeed when folks can’t take care of themselves...but sounds like you have some secure supports in place. Hope things work for the best and that she heals soon.

Amanda: 30 weeks. Congrats!! How awesome. Sorry about the itching though. It is good to hear that you are getting some energy back....

Ryann: Beautiful bump! Glad everything is coming along with the nursery--black and white is perfect for babies--tell your aunt it is best for them developmentally since the contrast is what they see best at an early age. And glad that bed rest isn’t too boring...yet.

Blair: Yes, that baby dust of Rio’s seems to have been some powerful stuff.... My twins, your triplets...folks in Cali need to watch out!! In fact, babydreamz just got a pretty high first beta...hm...sorry about the ms kicking your butt, but sounds like the Zofran is helping. Hang in there! Oh, and someone recommended this book to me which I have found to be helpful, “When You are expecting twins, triplets, or quads: Proven Guidelines for a Healthy Multiple Pregnancy”. It is like $14 on Amazon. Well worth it I have found so far.

Sonya: You doing ok? No more contraction scares I hope? Take care of yourself.

Rio: Hope that all is going well with you!

Kay: Glad that NT scan went well!!! Excellent. Have fun telling folks. :D

AFM: Had my NT scan today....was sooooooooo nervous.....but all went well! Measurements were normal. Whew. I know at my age, I am not out of the water by any means, but it is one more positive step. Both peanuts measured on target ( a couple days ahead) with good strong heartbeats. It was so exciting to see them...with their little arms and legs and swimming around. They actually are starting to look like little people! We got some cute photos. Unfortunately, the hematoma is still large (I was so hoping it would be just gone). But my bleeding is just old blood at this point, so I will do my best not to worry. I will get the results of the blood screen part on Tuesday, but I am not sure how much it will be telling me with multiples. Anyway, we are trying to decide when to tell everyone as well....decisions...

We have finally, FINALLY moved!!! I was without internet (and time since I had to supervise unpacking) for a couple days. I was going a little nuts not being able to check in on you ladies! LOL

Blair - CONGRATS X 3!!!!!!!! Wow wee! What an adventure you have ahead of you!

Ryann and Anna - LOVE the bumps ladies!!! You both look sooooooo adorable!

Amanda - I'm so jealous you get to work out! I bet it feels great to be able to be active again. Congrats on hitting the big 3-0!

Leora - I'm so sorry you feel so awful. Strawberry milkshake vomit coming out of your nose DEFINITELY does not sound pleasant. Hang in there! I'm sure they will be giving you the Zofran and it will make a world of difference for your poor tummy.

Reenie - Glad to hear everything's great with your LOs. 8 weeks has flown by! Pics????

kjm - So glad to hear you didn't get any tornadoes in your area. I cried my eyes out when I saw all the destruction and the people so helpless on tv.

mellow - You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers everyday. I'm going to read your blog as soon as I post this to make sure all is well.

I know I missed a lot of you, but you're all in my thoughts! Hope you're all having a wonderful week!

Anna - you look so vibrant! Loving your baby bump!

Amanda - congrats on reaching 30 weeks! yeah!

Leora - sorry to hear about your m/s. Ryann is right.. maybe you should call them before Thursday. That's another 6 whole days away, yikes! Lets see your belly shot! :)

Ryann - yay for passing the glucose test! what are you doing to keep yourself busy while on bedrest? what a cute bump you have! And yay for putting on 16 lbs from the 20 lost!

Blair - you're right.. just take it one day at a time. How is your nausea these days? Meds helping?

Lou - sorry to hear about your grandmother being admitted to the hospital because of CHF. I hope she has a speedy recovery and is able to join her family at home soon! Sad case for your cousin's gf.. :?

Vicky - yay for getting your U/S moved up! Until then, enjoy being preggers and have DH do something nice for you on mother's day! time will fly by!

Margi - so glad to hear everything is coming along great!!

Stephanie - yay! Congrats on finally being able to move! How are you liking the new place?

AFM - Good news.. my SDS results came back negative! I'm not a carrier! However, I did test positive for being a CF carrier. Good thing is.. my Caucasian husby tested negative for it.. it's funny because CF is more prevalent in Europeans and a lot less prevalent in Asians. But here we are.. Well, I'm just glad we're in the clear for both the diseases. We'll just have to test our baby to see whether he/she is a carrier for either of those conditions later in life. Other than that, my nausea has left the building! Well, for the most part at least. And I have entered the 2nd phase of pregnancy - extreme hunger pangs! I even gained 5lbs back in one week! So now I'm just 3 lbs short of my pre-pregnancy weight. Was that not a huge jump for a week? I'm not even eating unhealthy. Trying to eat as many fruits and veggies as I can. I'm definitely seeing my belly grow now, which is so surreal. I already find myself rubbing my belly at times and I'm not even really "showing showing" yet. Lol, people probably think I'm petting my fat, oh well. I should have DH take a pic soon. Need to start updating my pregnancy journal.

I know I'm not technically a mother yet, but I'm having DH take me out for the weekend for mother's day! I wanted to go to Monterey Bay or Sausalito, but those areas are far too expensive. And I love my nice hotel stays, so we'll probably keep it more local.. thinking San Jose and wander the streets of Santana Row. I'll try pricelining a nice hotel tonight. Let's see where we end up. Hope you beautiful mommas have a wonderful mother's day! Enjoy every moment of this special holiday! :D

I may be developing an infection. My normal temp baseline is 97.2 and today my temp is 99.8. Please keep praying. If it stays up and goes up they have to get the baby out. She is so little still. I don't know if I will be able to update again if things start looking precarious. This is such a roller coaster.

Oh, Mellow, you're definitely in my thoughts and prayers. I certainly hope you are not developing an infection. So sorry you have to go through such a rocky roller coaster. Hoping, wishing, and praying for the best for your little Marlo.

I had a small scare today - started having contractions a couple days ago... braxon hicks but very strong and brought on by stress or any kind of exercise. My doctor was concerned, had us do an NST which was great, then insisted on an IV of fluids. Seems I am stressed and dehydrated.... and at some risk for pre-term labour. So I'm resting, chugging down the water and taking things easy. Baby Brogan was super healthy and bumping around most of the time, cervix was high and closed.. I am just getting pretty freaking miserable to be honest. can't sleep, can't walk much and feeling moody and groucy and guilty for feeling that way!
I'm glad to hear you are ok and stable. Just rest and relax as much as you can and need! I understand how you feel. Yesterday was my first day of feeling physically uncomfortable and quite unhappy about it. And I'm only shy of 28 weeks! I know that we all know it is all worth it...but being uncomfortable really stinks! I can understand the guilt too...I yell at myself for even having a small thought of wishing I was term already! I"m so incredibly thankful...I'll do whatever it takes to get my baby girl here safe and sound! Hang in there! You are doing great!!!!

Let's all say an extra prayer today for mellow and baby Marlo (who I would assume is here by now). I hope and pray there is a fabulous NICU team there to get her to the finish line and home with her family.
