Jen - Glad you've had a nice weekend, its nice when you can get away and spend quality time together, bet its been good for adam too, his job sounds very stressful. I logged on to see your puppy, he is gorgeous, bet you can't wait until you see him.. Wow quad biking sounds like loads of fun..
In answer to your question, stims are going fine, can't believe I've only been on them for 7 days and I had a scan today and they have told me EC will be friday, I can't believe it.... Anyway hun you take care

Julie - Thanks for the birthday wishes. What is the NHS like eh? Sending you a letter for appt when you've already been.... starting next year then, just think new year, new start, you'll def be getting that BFP next year.

Lisa - Its is so nice to hear from you. I know how you feel needing time out from the boards, it can be ahrd sometimes can't it, I wasn't logging on as much as seeing all the BFP's was getting to me. Must be very hard for you doing the IUI's back to back. Also you have so much other stuff going on in your life, DH's dad being taken into a nursing home must be hard on you, DH and his family. I agree with what everyone else says about going off with stress, I did last year when I just couldn't handle the things going on in my life and let me tell you it really helped. I had 2 months off work. Anyway hun you take care and take all the time you need off the boards, we'll miss ya though, can't wait to hear of your good news, BFP.

As for me, only been on stims for 7 days and I went for my first follie scan today and I have 5 follies, 2 of them are ready already so I'm going in for egg collection on Friday, ET will be Sunday, I am so nervous but also quite excited. I ahve booked to go to my mums in France on Thurs 26th do you think flying will be OK so soon after ET.? Nothing much more to tell.

At work and going home now so best be off.

Sorry if i've missed anyone out but I'm rushing.

Hi Girls,

Sorry I haven't posted, needed time out from it all to be honest - a bit like Nickie and Lisa! I just can't seem to think about anything else and its doing my head in

I have my follow up appt on Friday so I'm hoping to get some answers then, or at least a way forward as my last clinic couldn't give me any answers!!

Nickie and Lisa - totally understand that you need time out. The BFP were getting to me also, and it got to the point where I started to get jealous. Not really fair considering some of the girls who did get a BFP have been through more than me and come out the other side with a BFP

Jen - glad to hear you've re-charged the batteries - I could do with some of that now. Good job I have half term next week!

Lucy - way to go girl EC already!! Those follies must have been working overtime! Good luck with Sunday and the ET - lets see a BFP, you deserve it

Julie - how was your appt? Will you be starting in January? I'm looking at Jan aswell for our FET - here's hoing its a good month.

Hope everyone else is doing ok. Will let you know how it goes on Friday with the follow up appt - here's hoping they can come up with some solutions!

Smita HONEY soooooooo good to hear from you...thank you for sending us Pheonixes loads of happy positive vibes...good to hear that you are enjoying the yummy mummy stage more than you thought.!!! WONDERFUL!

Lucy-wow!!!! 7 days stims and already 2 follies ready...FANTASTIC GIRL I kow you must be so excited but nervous...will be thinking of ya friday and Sunday...sending your follies the follie fairy for tions of ripe eggs!!!! About fluying i think it should be okay...the over 40's that go to Spain for donor eggs dffly back after ET so i presume all will be good for you...they still manage to get BFP's!

Kate soo good to hear from you too...it's amazing that we have all been going through this upsetting time over BFP's and feeling left behind! Anyway you do sound in dire need of time off. so enjoy your half term next week!!!

And jsut CHILL!!!! Good luck for friday please let us know how you get on!

julie how are you this tuesday morn? Are you still going to the health farm at the end of the month? I am busy looking up a hen night special at a spa ( just 4 of us going). So i can get all the pampering done ( with glasses of wine nach) the week before i get married....but it is all bit pricey!!

I am doing not to bad health wise at the mo...fingers crossed it stays that way. I am managing to walk without my splint and stick around the house. I am so excited about getting wee Yoli in 3 weeks( more new photo's by the way on www.nurisha.com). It's like he's our adopted boy...adam and i are so excited. we have his bed all ready waiting in the kitchen..... already!

Anyway I wil love and leave ya all...

Hi phoenixes

Just got back for clinic and I've definately 5 follies, 2 ready and 3 smaller ones, they want me to go back tomorrow for another scan. I have a big cyst too but thank god it hadn't grown since yesterdays scan which is good... So looks like tomorrow will be my last day of stims. Onto EC on Friday morning. I am so hoping all my follies carry a lovely egg.

My test date will be the Thursday 2nd but I'll be at my mums so I'll be doing a HPT, I have always advised people to stay well clear of them as on my 1st cycle it showed neg but infact it was pos... but I know I won't be able to wait until I get home even though its only a few days later.

Oh well at least my mum will be with me when I get my news.. (bad or good)

Sorry I haven’t been on here for a while, I have been following what you have all been up to though, I just havent managed to stay on long enough to type anything with out dropping off to sleep!

Jen I have just had a look at the photo’s of little Yoli she is gorgeous, not long until 4th November, you must be so excited. I am glad your health isn’t too bad at the moment, you really are such an amazing person

MLG glad you and bump are well. Have you found out if you are having a boy or a girl? I think I am going to. I really don’t mind what I have but would just like to know providing baby doesn’t cross its legs at the scan!

Lucy I have pm’d you. Just want to say again though I will be thinking of you on Friday and just go and enjoy your stay at you r Mums and let her spoil you rotten!

Julie your clinic sounds very unorganised, its so frustrating isn’t it, don’t they realise how many other things we have to worry about with infertility!

Lis I am sorry that you are finding this all so tough. I can only imagine how hard it is for you doing back to back cycles, I struggled enough with a few months gap in between. I agree with the others that perhaps you can get signed off with stress and then get your batteries recharged. I wish you all the luck in the world over the next few months.

Kate good luck with your follow up appointment, hope they can give you better answers than your last clinic did.

Nicky just in case you are reading this, just wanted to send you loads of luck and hope that you are doing ok.

As for me I am keeping well, just tired but that’s not a problem. I have my next scan on the 27th October and I will almost be half way there then. I still can’t believe that its finally happened. I really do feel that it’s a miracle and I can’t wait to see you all getting your BFP’s as well.

Hi Girls

Just keeping you updated:
Went to clinic today for yet another scan, the cycst has shrunk which is very good news for me. I have four follies that are ready (about 20mm) and few small ones (2 or three I think)

Last day on stims today, then this evening at 11.45 I take the pregnal, then tomorrow day off then off to EC on Friday morning. I am getting excited now...

Smita - thanks for wishes. How are you doing.?

Gail - Good luck with scan on 27th - can't believe how far on you are already... I know I say that all the time but I can't, time flys doesn't it. I hope I'll be following in your footsteps very soon..

Jen - Hope your're OK - I've been looking at more pics of you're soon to be gorgeous little pup...

JEN – Hi Hows u? Your pup looks gorgeous!! Bet you can’t wait to get him. I am at the health farm next week….CAN’T WAIT!!!! We originally did it for our 30th birthdays and once you pop you can’t stop as they say, so we go every year!!

As for me I am feeling very sad. My pet rabbit died yesterday. He was an old bunny – we had had him for 7 years – and his little organs failed. He started being poorly y’day morning and I was supposed to take him to the vet last night but he died when I got in from work. I am glad tho that I didn’t have to leave him at the vet to be put to sleep. Have left him there now and they are sending his ashes back to me so I can plant a little tree and scatter him in the garden. I know, as some say, he was a rabbit but they become a part of your family don’t they. Hard to think he has now gone….

HOW ARE YOU ALL DOING?

julie- oh hunny you poor soul....my sisters kid had a rabbit and it died last year also 7 yrs old...the family were so attached to it and it stayed in the house most of the day and went into it's hutch at night. Toffee was like the family dog to them...we all cried buckets when he went. Grief of loosing a pet hits you really hard...i's all the unconditional love they give you. Its great to symbolise his passing by planting a tree...sending ya hugs sweetie. x x

Lucy good luck for tomorrow and EC...wow soon be on your 2ww honey to a 9 month BFP.... I am sooooo sending ***BABY DUST *** your way...(saying prayers for ya too honey) X X

Hi Phoenixes

Well they collected 4 eggs from me yesterday.....

Just had the call this morning to say 2 have fertilised... I suppose 2 out of 4 isn't bad is it... but I will say this is the worse cycle I have had.. I am just praying that my 2 embies are good quality and they want to stick with me..

I am going in the morning at 11 for them putting back where they belong
