cressica - My dog did the EXACT same thing, and I was scared to death she had messed it all up too, but everything was just fine. Don't worry!

Michele - Any news?

Has anyone heard from Julie?

ladybug: IVF is not for the faint at heart...you have made it this far with your needles phobia- way to go! I am not going to sugar coat it though..the PIO shots hurt like a mo fo. The trigger is nothing, just like the ganirelex or follistim. its the darn PIO that really get ya. Ice your butt for about 5 min before so that the injection site is completely numb. That should really help and then as soon as you can after that, sit on a heating pad so the oil bump subsides. Those shots leave scars. I still have them on my butt from my daughter's pregnancy 2 years ago. But it is all worth it right! In the end the shots are nothing compared to CHILDBIRTH and that is your ultimate goal right?!?!

ladybug- I recently started my PIO. I was shocked that it didn't hurt (maybe a tiny pinch) when my DH gave me the shot, I didn't ice I just made sure to keep the PIO vile in my hand for a few minutes so it warms to body temp to go in easier. The next day, I was and still am super sore at the injection site. Good Luck!

I am soo nervous/excited for my upcoming ET I find out in the morning if we are doing a 3dt or 5dt. I dont want to get to far ahead of myself but any tips for the 2ww, it sounds like the hardest part...

Thx ladies, some helpful tips. I have a very low pain tolerance but your right rikirees, this is for a good cause and would do anything to have my little miracle, so I have to suck it up and tough it out. The menopur shots r the worst for me. I feel like someone cut me and poured alcohol they burn so bad. I find myself very emotional at times but I try and pull myself together and remember why I am doing this. Its rough, and alot of people dont understand what we are going through and Im so thankful to have you wonderful ladies helping me get through this. You are my internet/ivf family. Do you guys lay down for your shots or r u standing up? Thx again

Dillysgirl: Im excited for you ET, Im right behind you hopefully ER this fri or sat and then ET next week. You are almost there. :D

Rikirees: Lol thx for the heads up, I think I will be icing it for like an hr j/k.

ladybug - The menopur shots were the worst of those three for me as well. The PIO shots really do hurt the further along you go (at the beginning, it wasn't bad at all!), but what are you gonna do, right? I take them lying down, unless I have to go to hubby's work. Then I have to stand up. I can't say that either way is better or worse. I do find that taking a deep breath right before he pokes that needle in and exhaling slowly once it's in does help.

Hi Gals,
I just got the phonecall from my doctor and you're the first ones I'm telling. I got a BFP!!! My BETA #1 is 207. Not really sure what that means yet but I'm so happy! I go back on Thursday for BETA #2. I'm going to run out and get the hubby some kind of present. I'm still guarded but relieved on each step of this journey. Thank you for all your prayers and well wishes :D
Gotta run...much to do. Will write more tomorrow. XO

Dogz: thx for the tips im just preparing myself for it. I have to find some painreliever whether its ice or something else. Is it the initail pinch that hurts or it actually going through the muscle? Either way my dr said thats what he wants me to do so I gotta do it.

I have bw/us tomorrow will keep you all posted. I hope those follies are growing.

It varies. Sometimes the going in hurts but not the injection. Today, the going in was almost painless, but OMG the injection hurt like a sucker!!! I'm still in pain. I just shook my finger at the sono pic on the fridge and said, "See what I'm going through for you!!!"

Im so addicted to this website. Its the best.

Dogz: Lol thats too cute, I know we are going through alot to have our little bundle of joys. If they give trouble as they get older we can just say " do you know how much you put me through to have you, you better behave LOL" Its all worth it so I will suck it up. Honestly Dogz you gave me so much hope that miracles do happen. I'm so happy for you. My DH was like you are always on the computer now and Im like yes I found this great website and met great people and have to support them all and your story really touched me. I pray for a safe and healthy pregnancy for you. You have a little fiesty one in there and that will not give up. what a blessing.

Tortillachip- Congrats!!!! I am very happy for you!!!! That is awesome!! I have no idea what the levels are either but I hope for a good number on Thursday!!!! I hope you have a healthy and happy pregnancy!!!!

ladybug- I will say that the PIO was and is still quite painful for me... It seems that it hurt so badly at first I had a hard time sitting down. Then it got better but every now and then it seems that my husband manages to hit a soft spot or too close to a nerve and it hurts so bad that I cry. But I try to think of why I am doing this and it makes it a lot better. But you will get use to it and hopefully you will recieve better injections hehe.... but good luck

AFM

I am now almost one day away from my beta test. I am having a hard time sitting still....... I am a little crampy-the cramps come and go and dont stay long.... is that normal?? I know that the uterus needs to adjust and grow with "baby" but I just worry all the time, i run to the bathroom everytime I have a cramp.... I just cant seem to stay calm......

Here is baby dust for everyone....... Good luck and hope everyone has wonderful results!

Tortilla Congrats! That is an awesome beta number!

Amandamae Good luck on your beta on Thursday. Sounds like you were on the same cycle as Butterfly and me!

Dogz How are you feeling? What a beautiful miracle!

Butterfly Good luck on Thursday! Keep us posted! Glad to hear your doing well during this 2WW. I was too until yesterday. I started spotting and today it was actual bleeding (red) I called the clinic and they told me I could go in tomorrow for my beta. I have lost most of my hope at this point but am trying hard to hang in there.

Today has been really rough. I just don't understand why it didn't work this time! I had great blasts and the left over ones all made it to freeze! Is there something wrong with me?! Anyway, I have been taking lovenox (heparin - blood thinner) injections daily for the OHSS. I asked if I could stop them and they said yes. I think I am going to stop the baby aspirin too. My DH just made a comment about how someone had a baby but we can't! I know he didn't mean anything but I feel like I let us down!

Sooooo Sorry for the negativity. I will check in later. Thanks for listening!

Tortillachip-Congrats on your PFP!!

I can not believe how many of us are getting BFP's!. I have to say that I believe in the power of prayer and positive thinking. When you combine those things with the support of a community like this, it has to have a positive effect!!

I'm on my 5th night of stims and am hoping for a good growth report tomorrow and a higher E2 count. I am feeling some ovarian cramping..sort of feels like tightness that I can't stretch out. I am so happy to be on stims and not just Lupron. I'm feeling normal again and not all zoned out. I'm hoping for a Tuesday ER and ET the following Sunday if all goes as planned.

baby dust to all!

Faith
It's Triplets!
