Hello ladies!

Wolfie-- Congrats! Enjoy this time! When is your next beta?

ER went well this morning. 14 mature eggs were retreived. We are taking our chances and not doing ICSI. DH has 1% morphology and chances are that we may get no fert. But with my eggs, the needle from ICSI damages them and the embryos never do well, so we decided to take our chances and hope for the best. I am hoping for 2 to fertilize. So I will be nervous all day at work tomorrow until I get the phone call. I am feeling pretty good. I slept for a while and now I am just sore. So I will let the know the fert report tomorrow night when I get home.

CT Michele-- good luck tomorrow! I would love to go through pregnancy with you! This board is doing awesome!

Neffi - Yay for 14 mature eggies! We had to do ICSI because since DH had a vasectomy 12 years ago his little swimmers weren't that active. I'm hoping for 100%! Gotta set your sights high

I have some bad news....I got a phone call earlier today from my dr that they found NO traces of the hcg trigger that I took last night (they don't know why and this has basically never happened before) so they have cancelled my IVF cycle and now they have to wait for me to get my period, have my ovaries go down in size, and expell the 30 follicles that were growing. They say that without the hcg trigger, my estrogen numbers plummeted last night and that my egg quality wouldn't be good??? I still don't understand all the logistics of it, but I am trying to stay positive.

You can only imagine I hysterical I was at work when I found out (which stinks because I haven't told anyone what I have been going through)

My dh was amazing and came home from work early and I am past the initial shock and just hope to move forward with success. Good luck to you all of you ladies and hopefully the BFP's keep coming

Claud - OMG! I'm so sorry, hun! How much HCG did you take? What stims were you on? I know you are so sad! Why did they even check that? My clinic never does. Is there no way they will go ahead with ER just to see if there any mature ones?

Claud - OMG! I am SO sorry, that seems outrageous. My clinic doesn't check for the trigger either. I am wondering the same thing as Shelby...why can't they to ahead with the retrieval just to see what they get. I mean it kinda seems like a waste to let those follies go. Maybe they could get at least a couple and if they fertilized go ahead with a FET cycle when your body was ready for it. I am SO SO sorry.

Girls, I gotta say, I am almost brought to tears by all of the support I get from this site. I am amazed at the amount of pm's, thread crashes, emails, and facebook messages I received today wishing me luck tomorrow. This truly is a wonderful site and I appreciate each and everyone of you!

Carolyn- Thank you so much for the sticky dust, I really hope it works this time!

Neffi- we sooooo deserve to be preggers together, we have cycled so many times together, maybe this is the one we will cross paths for.

Wolffie- congrats on your bfp! I am sooo happy for you, that's is a nice strong first beta.

Claud- I am so sorry to hear your news! Sounds very strange to me as well, my clinic never checked me to see if my trigger worked or was present. I might post that question for ghost.

So RE called earlier, transfer is at 2:30 tomorrow, I have to be there by 2, so I will leave my house by 1:30. He also told me that they were going to thaw 2 embies tonight in hopes that they would see growth in the morning. He said if there is growth, those will be the two, but if one or both don't grow, or stop growing, they will thaw the other 2 in the morning. I am ok with all of that because I just want the best chance at a bfp this time.

Of course some bad news today. Mom in law, who is supposed to watch ella tomorrow so dh and I can both go to transfer called and has pneumonia (sp?), so now I am scrambling for a sitter. My mom says to me, "Does dh have to go?" She suggested we bring ella and dh wait in the waiting room with her, and my response to her was, "Most couples are together when they get pregnant, and I would like the same." I feel like transfer is part of the emotional journey of ivf, just laying on that table envisioning what could be. So hopefully, I will find someone.

Thanks again ladies, for everything.

Wolffie... Such great news!!! Congrats!!!

Shelbryn: thanks for the response. While thinking with a clear head I realize I should stay positive. I had 2 day embryo transfer. So I guess I'm really just 9 days past ovulation. Right? I'm hoping for 100% for you!!!!

Neffi: good luck!!!!

Claud: I'm so sorry. I wasn't testedfor the trigger either. I'm glad your DH is helping you so much.

Fellow 2ww-ers: holy!!! This is hard. Good luck.... Hope time flies for you.

My dr said they test just the trigger in case of situations like these

I asked about still doing a retrievel since I had so many follies, but she seemed to think if there was over a %15 decrease in your estrogen, your eggs wouldn't survive and it wasn't worth using my insurance to do the retrievel if I wasn't going to get eggs (I have 4 IVF retrievels for my insurance).

She also said because I responded so well to the stims that they want me to start a fresh cycle?!?!

I took 1ml of hcg trigger but used 2ml of water (per nurse's instructions), but they said that I had NO traces of it in my blood which is so unusual since it such a potent drug? I am bringing in the vile tomorrow so they can test it....I will be so pissed if the pharmacy gave me bad meds! at least if it's my fault, I can take ownership, but not if it was a mistake my the pharmacy.

I will keep you ladies posted.

thanks for the kind words.

Michele - I'll be thinking of you tomorrow!!! Bummer about your MIL. I hope you are able to find someone. Do you have any friends who stay home? Sorry for the added stress. It is definitely important for dh to be with you at transfer time. I was a wreck when I thought my dh wasn't going to be able to be with me. I'll be thinking of you!

claud - Again, I am so so sorry.
