Leora - My beta is 2/9. MY WTF appt is 2/2. I don't know what the point is of going in a week before the beta to discuss nothing.

AFM - I am thinking I will be using tax return money for a FET since I think my IVF's are done. Or I need to go get a 2nd job at Bank of America to get their insurance lol. I don't know if DH would like using that much money for it but oh well. He said yesterday he is glad we are done whichever way it goes. He is sick of the long drive that he has to do what? Once or twice? I went like 10 times this month and most were sitting in traffic on snow days. He went 3 tmes. I am going to tell him that if he does not want to go he doesn't have to. I will just spend more money to use donor sperm from a good looking smart guy. LOL I just cracked myself up writing that. I am at work laughing at my desk!!!

Leora - with my antagonist cycle I got 8 3 day embryos. but the embryologist kept saying that the were "slow". didnt develop as fast as they should have i guess. we put 2 in and froze the rest at day 3. the fresh didnt work, the FET worked with a transfer of 3.

SD - i am on my day 1 of stimms. i think you are on your day 2 now, yes?

Tammy - wow! good for you for bringing Zach to clinic. I dont think my little one would stay in his stroller. he always wants to get out of the stroler and get crawling. unless the stroller is moving - then he is ok for a while.

Lauren- LOl!! I kind of get tired when my DH says he is done and tired of all of this stuff. like he has to do the shots and all the appointments. I do all my own shots. The only thing I request out of him is to be able to get off of work to give his sample. He doesn't even go for the transfers. A couple of times I wanted to yell "WE ARE DONE WHEN I SAY WE ARE DONE SO JUST SUCK IT UP!!'

I got a question for you ladies - i have bad hearburn and am usually on an antacid like Prevacid. My clinic wants me off meds completely during the cycle. which i am obliging despite the discomfort. I am just wondering how strict are your clinics when it comes to antacids? because prevacid is a very popular medication - i've heard that 1 out of 3 people are on some sort of antacid meds.

Hopeisallihave- So excited I picked my baby in a bag today Yah for 15 eggs that is awesome...

Leora- I feel the same way about havinga child whether its ivf/ adoption, but my DH doesnt want to adopt so i guess I will have to keep trying through ivf unless I can talk him int adoption someday... I know I can give a child a great home and much love so I will do whatever I have to to have that dream

Kerri- If you feel you may have the start to OHSS start drinking gatorade, it really helps....

A girl whose blog I read had 50 eggs at retrieval with 32 fertilizing. She is now dealing with pretty bad ohss, poor lady.

My scan is tomorrow, Saturday, and I am sure I will be going back Monday or Tuesday morning. Projected ER is this coming week. Tomorrow we are supposed to have sex and then abstain until further notice. It may be a bit tough getting in a session with our schedules tomorrow, but hopefully we can work it out.

My clinic said my OTC Prevacid was ok to take during treatment. My OB has also said it was ok to take during pregnancy. Good luck!!

Someone asked me if I am on suppositories. Am I supposed to be??? They did not mention it and I did not think anything of it. I have not done an iui since 2009 so I can't remember if I did or not before.

Kat...I'm very very sorry!!! I think changing clinics is a good idea as well. Take time to be mad, sad, frustrated, diappointed and everything else you may feel. This journey is so hard and luckily we are all together. This site is so great for the support. I know I wish I had found it earlier. Most importantly remember your not alone on this climb and you WILL get to the top!!!

We are down to 5 as of this morning. The nurse called all 5 were immature but they did the ICIS on all five today. I am on call this whole weekend. She said they will know more tomorrow on how they are looking. I don't really understand the whole immature eggs now being mature with the help of ICIS. I sure hope they make it.
