hello everyone
i am from malaysia...
i m been married for 13 years and hv one 10 year old boy.
I tried hving another child unsuccessfuly.
I was diagonised with PCO and did a ovarian drilling in 2003 and my period is regular eversince.
Then by chance my hubby did a sperm test which showed his sperm count very low. So I gave up.
But I still wanted another child. So I went for my test again and discovered again I have the pco problem.
I am already 41 yrs old . My doc advised for ICSI to concieve another child.
Has any been in this situation. What are the chances of success?
My heart goes out to you. I don't know what PCO is so I'll have to read up on it. I just wanted to respond because I'm 41 and have been married 13 years also. I'm getting ready for my 2nd IVF as the first one was unsuccessful. I'm really regretting all the years that I put this off. The doctor did ICSI on 3 of my 9 eggs. Unfortunately at our age the chances for success keep getting lower, but it can still work!!!! The very best of luck to you!!!! Take care, Leslie
