Does progesterone keep you from starting AF

Today is my end of the 2 ww. All the labs are closed today and tomorrow for holiday. My Dr. called me today to see if I tested. I said I was going to wait until Tues when the lab is open. AF isn't here yet. Since I am on Prog. is it possible not to start on time? I'm trying not to get my hopes up to high.

I know some people where AF was delayed by prog, however prog has never delayed AF for me...

Hope it is a bfp.

hi hun, I am on 2ww as well and I am prog aswell it looks as though i have had AF but a friend of mine had prog and her AF was late so it is diff for everyone. I so hope and pray that you get a BFP,sending loads of dust.

With both IUI's and both IVF's the progesterone delayed AF for me. It always started exactly three days after discontinuing the meds. It is different for everyone though and many get AF before they even get to test. I would say if you have no cramps and no AF it is a very good possibility that you are +. Hiya,

Just to let u know that taking the progesterone did not delay my AF, it showed her ugly head the day before i was due to test. As the ladies say, it is different for everyone, i always thought it did delay it, but nature proved to me otherwise - i really hope u get ur BFP, please let us know, Good Luck

Hi, the progesterone didn't delay the AF for me, but made it light. Mine started 3 days before the test. Hope you get a BFP !!!
