panicking as no bleeding after pill -any help welcome

Dear All, Have not posted on the site for ages - partly because I thought it was making me think of nothing else! Anyway, post major surgery at end of April to remove my tubes I waited for a period until the end July. Saw consultant prior to this who suggested I take the pill for 21 days and then start next cycle with post pill bleeding. I finished the packet on Sunday and now we are at Wednesday but no bleeding. Did have v. sore boobs while I was taking the pill but know this is a side effect anyway. Can't be pregnant as no tubes so not sure what has happened. Has this ever happened to anyone else? Any help is welcome. Can't believe there have been so many positives on the site - fab!! Good Luck to everyone else on a cycle, Cheers, Lou

Lou have sort of vaguely similar prob. Finished unsuccesful ICSI last month - Af came during 2ww. But since then no af for THIS month, now day 35 afetr last af, . I was due before weekend - still no sign yet!....surely the drugs cant still be affecting my system?! I too def not pg as dh no swimmers!! Would just like to add I did E/c in may, did not have ET due to OHSS, came on about 1 week after EC but was told by clinic this was not a proper period. next one did not arrive for 30 days after last day of period, previously I have never gone more than 22 days from last day of period so I think it must be normal after treatment to be later than normal. Also a couple of years ago I went back on pill for a few months and 1st month took 21 tablets & af did not arrive until 6 days later!! only 1 day before due to start next packet. We put are bodies through a lot so just needs to settle into a routine again. Frustrating for us, you cant but hope that it means you are pg.. I nearly bought a PG test last mth & lo and behold as soon as I gave that a thought-AF arrived... Good luck, just be patient if you can Sarah xx

Dear Caz and Sarah, Thanks for your help. I guess I just was not patient enough because last night AF reared her ugly head. Very strange how all of a sudden I am delighted for AF to arrive when I dreaded it for so long!! Went to the clinic this morning and we are of on the next part of the rollercoaster. I start taking Clomid today and then jabbing menopur and gonal F on Sat. Just hoping and praying that my one remaining ovary can manage a few follies as it didn't last time. Caz, after my op I did not have a period for 82 days so hope yours does not take that long to come around. Just goes to show that our bodies have their own way of sorting themselves out after we muck about with them.
