Help! Advice needed...a little scared

Post by Kelley77 »

Hello ladies.....Just a quick question, or maybe some words of comfort.

This morning (long story short) we had people over sealing our driveway, and my dog got out. She can sound very mean (isn't though) but it made me SO ANGRY that she busted out the door and ran at the guy, when I told her to stay. Needless to say, I totally lost it.....(been very hormonal & emotional..and no I am not in need of anger management :) and became extremely extremely angry & upset. I sort of picked her up by her collar (not completely off the ground) but she is a strong terrier..about 55 lbs. I was so mad & angry & yelling...I honestly don't know what happened. Well I was practically out of breath....and I felt a little sick..kind of natious for a minute. I finally calmed down... well when I went to the washroom, I wiped & had a little red blood. Nothing gushing or crazy, but red blood none the less. Like an idiot I came to work..( I take a train, and have a bit of a walk) and when I got to work, wiped again (sorry TMI!) and still a little bit. I haven't gone since, and think it has stopped, but I am just very scared.

I did already talk with the nurse, and she suggested I take an extra shot of Prog as soon as I can, and keep my feet up. Obviously she told me to go home...haven't yet...I hate my job!!!! However I do plan on leaving early...I have my feet up, and won't be moving around. Nurse said that it isn't uncommon to break a blood vessel, or it could be my cervix. She said not to worry, but obviously, you all know that it impossible.

I am sure none of you have acted as ridiculous as I have, but has something similar happened to anyone, and everything still be ok? I am exactly 10 weeks today....twins....... :(

kelly,

don't worry honey - I had two episodes of bleeding at 8 and 9 weeks with the first episode being heavy. I honestly thought I lost teh babies (also having twins) but they are tough and the scans showed that they were both fine. Do what the nurse says though, get home (take a taxi?) and lie down for a few hours and take it very easy this weekend.

Poor you, sounds like a crappy day!

Take care

rebecca

Kelley just to calm you down regarding your anger outburst... I was on a 2ww (more sensitive stage then you are in) and had the worst fight with my husband ...the worst one in our 10 years together, I remember yelling at him so intensively that I lost my breath (we fight mildly once a year maybe usually) I guess the hormones were at their strongest stage...I was SURE then that I ruined my chance to get pregnant!!!! I even hated myself...Nothing happened, I'm healthy and happily 17 weeks pregnant. :D

Thank you ladies so much. This is such a tough time for us, and every little thing can really make you worried, and with the raging hormones, sometimes I feel like I might just lose it, although I will BE SURE to never let something like this happen again! On my way home now....thanks again.
