Hi everyone

For many months I have been reading posts, chipping in every so often but always feeling a little on the 'fringe' of things!
Well that all changed last night when DH stuck a needle full of Buserelin into my rear end!!!!!

Dear AF arrived yesterday and so now we start down the long hard road of assisted conception. Apologies to those of you who know my history, a quick background to those of you that don't. DH and I have been TTC for about 18 months. Not long you may think but I am nearly 39 and I have two children from a previous marriage so it did not take us long to realise things were not happening this time round. I have had Hycosy and Lap & dye (both normal). My hormone levels are very low for my age and I previously concieved 3 times (all the first month of trying with 2 x children and 1 x miscarriage). We have a slight male factor and therefore have been told to jump straight in with ICSI. I just feels good to be finally starting.

I now have to wait until 7th October for my scan which I HOPE will result in us being told we can then commence with the Gonal F.

To all those of you who have responded to me previously a huge thank you, to all those of you who are new to this all (like me) GOOD LUCK and to everyone collectively MY VERY BEST WISHES and a simple thank you to you all for your continual support.

Lorraine G
