urgant question!!!!!!

I need Mandy to be downregged before I can start my prognova which has to be started 5 days beforeher taking her menopur, now she had her bloods done today and they had trouble testing them and have come out with 73 and it has to be under 200 (e2 levels)and her scan showed a very thin endrometium which was perfect and her clinic said that if her scan showed a worse picture they would retest her on monday , now this is the dilema :<br>My clinic arnt open tomorrow only in an emergancy and they have told me to start my progenova if her bloods say she is downregged , well as far as the bornemouth royal are concerned they think she is but the blood test isnt 100% due to it being difficult to test , but as it was 73 which is under 200 and her scan showed a good thin endrometium should I take it that she is !!!?<br><br>Now I know that if I ring the clinic tomorrow and speak to someone that isnt dealing with us then they are bound to say test on monday and wait just to make sure, but I know mandy will be very angry to do that as it puts the treatment back more days and she needs to have a big dentle appointment on the 12 november and as she is emergrating in jan she cant have another apointment. sorry for rambling but I need to know what you guys would do?<br><br>Do I just take it that she is downregged and not ring the clinic<br>OR<br>Do I ring the clinic for the fear that they will say wait after all the bloods look good and her scan said she was,<br><br>Stress stress stress.<br><br>Please help me decide <br>I leave for france at 4.30am for the day and I need to make my mind up!<br><br>Trace x

Hi Traci, I don't know if I can help, I don't want to tell you the wrong thing but these are my thoughts....<br><br>1) if they test her again on Monday what difference would it make? Would her blood test be any different? No it will not have gone up over 200, it's not as if she was borderline just under 200.<br><br>2) will her endometrium have got thick over the next 2 days ? No it won't<br><br>3) what was the trouble with testing her blood? do they think they didn't get the true picture?<br><br>4) what if you ring your clinic and say this was her results and you just need to check you are OK to start prognova<br><br>5) I have had menopur twice and the first time I went 2 days longer with it than the second time so maybe they won't know at this stage the exact number of days she will need to be taking it anyway so does a couple of days make a difference? Do they know already how she will respond? and you - have you had different responses on previous attempts? <br><br>6) if she did have EC and then they would maybe wait till you were ready to do ET or would it have to be the exact same day?<br><br>7) if her dental appt is 12th Nov does that definitely fall on a day when you will need her or just a maybe depending on timings?<br><br>I am sure you will have asked what all the timings are for and if they need to be exact so I may not have helped at all ! Please don't stress any more than you are doing already (not easy obviously)<br><br>Whatever I have said, I know you will do what you feel is right, I don't know what anyone else thinks?<br><br>sorry that was a really long one! traci, <br>from what you've said it sounds ok to me and i'd go with it. <br>there is another site that has an embryologist who answers questions on-line. it is www.fertilityfriends.co.uk<br>however sometimes he can take a while before responding as he has moved to canada but the time diference is in your favour. you could try him too.<br> <br>phil<br>
