I am 30 years old and suffering from Poly cystic ovaries. We are trying to conceive since last 1 year. I ovulated using ovofar 50 mg and had in numerous cycles of follicle monitoring. My HSG test results were fine and have no blockage in tubes. My Eb reports also came normal. then doctor again took 3 cycles of follicle but no results
now my doctor has suggested IVF treatment. My question is when my all reports are normal except having PCOS, is it too early to go for IVF???????????????? Please help me. I am shattered...........
have you had your DH tested... i too had PCOS and we couldnt figure out why i couldnt get pregnant low and behold it was my husband. IVF is a big decision to make, however it is anyones (even those who are perfectly normal) best chance of having a baby. It isnt for everyone it takes alot out of us, as all infertility does, and maybe it isnt right for you yet everyone is different. Good luck to you !
Hi sanya79
ivf is though decision to make, but problem is that everything in the women body changes so quick, one day everything looks great the other who knows
the longer you wait the thougher will get
so if you want to have baby use the time you are young the body will respond better, everything will go quicke and then the recovery from the pregnancy will be easier
my sister was 24 when she had her ivf ..........
times fly
good luck
Sanya - I agree w/ Sorcet … you should make sure they have run all of the tests on your husband also to make sure he is not the one w/ the problem. Also, if it would make you feel better, get a second opinion from another fertility specialist.
I agree, IVF is a big step and you have to be mentally prepared for all of its ups and downs, so make sure you do all of your research before making your decision.
But, I will say this to you ... my husband and I have been married for 10 years and trying to conceive for about 8 of those years. As you can read from my signature below, we have lost several babies over the years. Now, I am approaching 35 and I am pregnant now but I wish I would have started w/ IVF years ago. I started IVF when I was 32 and it might take you some time to get pregnant so don’t let too much time lapse.
