How many IVF transfers before pregnancy occurred for you?

I am just wondering how many time people have gone through the IVF process before pregnancy occurred. Also how many embryos were transferred each time and did your success work on a fresh transfer or a frozen transfer? What was the out come singleton or twins etc.

This is my third attempt at IVF with ICSI. The first transfer was 2 embryos and did not take. The 2nd transfer was 3 frozen embryos and one took!!!!

Now I am doing it all over again and 3 fresh embryos transferred, so just waiting to see what happens now. This is my last chance.

Heres a break down of my ivf journey: ivf 1 - transfered 2 none to freeze bfn, ivf2 transfered 2, 1 frozen bfn, ivf 3 (fet) bfn, ivf 4 no embies made it to blastocyst no transfer!!, ivf 5 2 transfered 2 frozen BFP! but m/c at 9 wks, ivf 6 FET 2 transfered BFP but m/c at 10 wks, Ivf 7 BFP!!!!!!! Please God healthy baby is due any day!!!!

So it took me till my 5th attempt to get my 1st bfp even though it and the 6th ended in m/c we were determined not to give up, some of us take longer than others to get pregnant, with lots of detailed tests and more meds it finally happened and i am now 5 days overdue another lady on my due date site also took till her 7th attempt to get pregnant so miracles do happen.

Best of luck, there is one lady on here that has a fantastic saying at the end of her signature "never give up on something you can't go a day without thinking about" those words really encouraged me to keep going even when we were told after our 4th failed attempt that i would Never get pregnant...got pg 3 times in a row after that!! Docs can be wrong.

You might have better luck if you post this on the IVF board....there seems to be a lot more activity over there..and lots of success stories for sure!

I am currently in my 2ww. There are so many factors to consider--age of course being a major one. Because of my age, I am having a much more difficult time, although I have gotten BFP's as you can see from my signature, no baby from them yet.

But I am keeping as positive as I can and keep going!
