TSH levels and PUPO- Ghost?Anyone?

Post by babydreamz »

My TSH has been behaving well since I started IVF process, it was 1.2 BUT today is shot up to 5.2.

Has anyone experienced the same? RE says not to worry about it, its just hormones.

But according to this article-http://www.medscape.com/viewarticle/732415

Quote- Two groups were created on the basis of TSH levels: < 2.5 mIU/l (n = 3481) and 2.5-5.0 mIU/l (n = 642). Age and parity were comparable. The mean gestational age for the first prenatal visit was also similar (between 8-9 weeks). The pregnancy loss rate was 3.6% in women with a TSH level of < 2.5 mIU/l, and 6.1% in women with TSH levels between 2.5 and 5.0 mIU/l. This difference was statistically significant

My endocrinologist is not available till Monday. And as my fellow IVF ladies, I am sure, most are like me, if you have a concern or question in your mind, it drives us crazy till we have scrutinized it under the microscope.

Any similar experience with TSH?
