while reading a lot of posts here, i noticed that most of the ladies take BCP (to supress ovulation as they say) the month before cycling.
well, my RE never put me on BCP , he always told me to go the first or second day of my period to have an u/s and (if everything was ok) to start stimulation injections on cycle day 2 ---> for antagonist protocol.
is it that ok?? Ghost??
ps: i never had problems, always made it to ER and ET with good quality embies, but never a BFP.
BCP is not necessary before an IVF cycle. Some clinics use them that way and some do not. The main reason to use them is to get the patient's cycle synchronized the clinic schedule. Some say the use of BCP before a cycle reduces the success rate.
Avoid IVF and surrogacy in Ukraine. Ukrainian centers pay shills to post here under numerous sock accounts pretending to be patients in Ukraine. Centers using such deceptive advertising cannot be trusted and should be avoided.
