How early did you see a HB

I need to schedule and u/s, i don't want to wait too long but I also would rather see a HB on my first scan. I am thinking i might try 6w2d.. Last pregnancy I saw a HB but that was at 6w5d. How early did you see an HB?

with both sets of twins, we saw heartbeats at 6w2d. This time, no hb at 6w2d, but a hb at 6w5d....

Earliest is 6weeks but should be seen by 7weeks.

My clinic wouldn't schedule the first u/s prior to 6w3d so it wouldn't scare people to not see them by then. At or after this point most heartbeats should be seen.

Somewhere in Week 5 - it was slow as it has just started beating. Normally, they don't do ultrasounds that early because there's a chance that the heartbeat won't be there but I was being seen for bleeding.

With Paul we saw it at 6w 0d but with this pregnancy by 6w 5d so I guess it varies. I think it should be visible when your beta crosses 3500 or so and Paul had very high betas but this pregnancy was more average. I hope this helps

I saw the heartbeat at 6w4d. It was 125. Good luck!

Thanks Ladies.. i scheduled my u/s for the 14th of Aug.. i will be almost 7 weeks then. my Dr is out the office the week before so that pretty much made my decision on when i would make my appointment. i could go next week but that is way too early. i will only be 5 weeks next Wednesday.
