Hi,
I am new to the forum and I will be starting a fresh ICSI cycle in October this is not my first attempt unfortunately, we have so far had 3 failed attempts, and only recently after having all the level 1 & 2 extensive tests, have me and my DH found out from these test results that we have a partial DQa match and my NK assay is 20.6% so I will be taking Steroids, Intralipids and Clexane on my next round of treatment, which from all the things I have read all seem to help to overcome the NK cell by lowering the immune system.
My main concern is the vitamins and foods I am on at the moment having a negative effect and boosting my immune system when it comes to transfer as this is what activates the NK cells and causes the embryo not to implant.
The vitamin supplements I take at the moment are:
Zita West Pregnancy Plan,
Solgar Metafolin 800mcg folic acid,
Natures Answer Liquid Omega Three,
Better You DeLux Vitamin D3 spray 1000iu
Life Extension Super Bio Curcumin,
I am on a healthy diet also including:
Oats with blueberries, raspberries, blackberries, bananas and sunflower, pumpkin and flax seeds
Red berry smoothies, apple juice
Oranges, apples, bananas
Healthy meals daily including organic meats and vegetables (carrots, broccoli, cabbage, cauliflower)
Organic Milk
Organic decaf tea and coffee
All of these vitamins and foods have been recommended to me for good egg quality but as mentioned when it comes to transfer I want my NK cells to be as low as they can possibly be, so was really just looking for any advice on what not to eat that might boost my immune system and maybe if anybody knows of any foods that can also help to supress the immune system, like the intralipid does?
I know this is a very rare diagnosis we have been given and there are not a lot of other ICSI/IVF patients with this kind of issue really, but if anybody can help or just give me some advice or diet tips it would be really helpful.
Thank you for listening and I hope I haven't confused you too much! ???
