As you may remember I was unsure whether to stay at HH or change to ARGC,anyway I went for a consultation and made the move which I feel positive about (at the moment!!!!!)
Also having acupuncture and taking Marylyn Glenvilles supps so I took your advice.
Anyway would love to know how you have been feeling so if you get a chance let me know.

hi magnus,

argc seems a good choice, there's certainly loads of positive feedback on this site. when are you starting, or have you already?

our pregnancy is going well so far. i still can't believe we made it naturally. the scans are showing good development, which is such a relief, but it can be difficult to keep positive inbetween scans particularly in the early stages. i'm at 15 wks now and time is speeding up so really i think my confidence is growing everyday.

how are you getting on with accupunture? i'm still doing it but just once per month now. i have stopped chinese meds though, they and almost everything else was making my nausea worse. i think they did the trick though when i needed them most!

let me know how you're getting on.

best wishes

Hi Phil
I can't believe you are already 15 weeks, thats fab.Its so brilliant that you fell naturally just goes to show doesn't it.I think its great that you still check out these boards and share your knowledge with the girls,I have learnt sooo much from here,i shall be continuing to post.
Well I have just come back from ARGC having had mid cycle bloods and scans and have to go back in a week to repeat (havn't ovulated yet) so hopefully i will start down reg then!I am off skiing tomorrow for a week :P
so I will feel all positive and ready to go (hopefully not on crutches).
Does the acupuncture help with the sickness, I hope that goes for you soon.
Take care and lots of pampering

Phil, what chinese meds did you take please? I would like to order some to see if they work for me as I am also 43. That is fantastic news that you are now 15 weeks and got pg naturally. I am thrilled for you.

hi jenny,

i just checked the meds and it is in chinese! why not go into a chinese medicine shop and ask about what they usually use. however bear in mind that the accupuncturist i use specifically prescribed the medicines according to my condition, which is liver and uterus defficiencies and poor circulation.

you might be better to have a consultation to find out exactly how they could help you. sorry if i haven't been much help.

also jenny i drastically changed my eating habits too as i was not getting enough protein. also i switched to totally organic. if you want any info on this i'd be happy to help.

best wishes,

Hi Phil, we have been following the marilyn glenville recommendations from her site and book for about 2 years now and eat mainly organic, take supplements, don't drink alcohol or coffee etc so we have done that side of things. I respond very well to IVF drugs and usually get 15-16 eggs per cycle and my fsh is 6.2 so I am still pretty fertile. I don't fancy acupunture myself but I will take any herbs/supplements. How much does it cost to go to a chinese herbalist? Also how do you know who is good and who isn't? How did you choose yours?

Thanks in anticipation.

Hi Phil, I am veggie so we don't eat meat but we do eat tofu etc and I drink lots of milk so get protein that way. How much protein did you eat and where did you get that info from?
