Just need to check something!

Post by Kel »

Hi Girls,

Just worrying a bit about something, and hoping someone might be able to help please! I had my baseline scan on Wednesday which was fine and so started my stimming yesterday, but they also gave me another long-acting prostap injection on Wednesday, as I had my first one on 2nd May so wouldn't cover me for the rest of the cycle... My question is, the down reg injection is supposed to last for 5 weeks, and my EC is 14th June with ET on 16th if all goes to plan, so I am really worried that as I will no longer have the stimming drugs keeping the lining thick, and this long acting injection in my system still way after ET which is supposed to make the lining thin, surely that is not a good thing for embies to stick to?????
OR will the hcg jab and the cyclogest help to keep the lining right and completely overide the down reg injection?? OH NO am confused!!!!!
Sorry girls, just a bit worried. I probably wouldn't be so worried, but they actually totally forgot I needed another down rg injection at all, I got half way out of the hospital and thought I better check!!!!! ARRggghhhGGHHH!

Thanks Loads! Hope everyone's ok!

Kel, I know nothing about your regime and can't help with your Q. but just wanted to say I'm sorry that it's all so confusing, esp. on a Friday when answers are hard to come by. It's not unlikely that someone knows more about your specific questions, so good luck getting more info.

love
Debra.

Hi Kel,

I used the spray to down reg so am not sure about your treatment. I think the stimming drugs also make your lining thick because they kept measuring mine before they would do EC. I do know the reason for taking the pessaries is to keep the lining nice and thick to mimic a pregnancy so the embies will stick. Is your clinic open on Saturday (mine is) I suggest you give them a ring. I'm sure they will be happy to answer your question and put your mind at risk.

Best of luck with your cycle.

Thanks for replying girls!
That all makes sense now with the pessaries, I got into a bit of a panic last night, so been checking notes and stuff on the internet and am ok with it now....
Thank you!
