As far as my consultant was concerned, I was a straightforward case - healthy ovaries, womb etc just tubal damage. DP and I cannot understand why our treatment isn't working. Has anyone had problems with implantation and then done something like acupuncture where it then has succeeded. I'm willing to try any possibility! I was on steroids for NK cells as we thought this may have been the problem but still negative!
Any thoughts/tips would be appreciated Cheers my dears

1st Cycle ICSI - Cancelled before E/R due to poor response
2nd Cycle ICSI - April 2004 Negative
3rd Cycle FET - July 2004 - Negative
4th Cycle ICSI - Nov 2004 - BFP (Oh my GOD)
My office has everyone start taking an 80mg baby aspirin as soon as they start stims. Something about increased blood flow to the endometrial strip allows for a higher success of implantation. I'd check with your Dr. first though. I also have a friend who keeps miscarrying, and her Dr. just recommended the same thing.
I may well try this as I'm sure it can't hurt to take it - I will ask my Dr first though but I can't see any reason why not!

My Dr. used to only recommend for people who have done an IVF cycle or 2 and have failed....now he does it right at the start for everyone. I'm sure every Dr. has a different opinion. I think the people who should not take it, as aspirin is a blood thinner are those who have problems not being able to clot....to stop bleeding. I'm sure if you google it, there will be more info as well.
Another possible reason to use baby aspirin is even more theoretical. Study findings presented at a recent IVF meeting in Vancouver, Canada, addressed the question of why some healthy-appearing eggs make embryos that implant and continue to term, while others do not. Data from this study suggest that one important factor is the blood flow to the ovarian follicles in which the eggs develop. Such factors as age and the presence of PCOS may lower the blood flow to the follicles. Some researchers have theorized that just as baby aspirin can improve blood flow to the placenta, it may also improve blood flow to the ovary, giving us healthier eggs and embryos.
Have these benefits been proven? No. Is this safe? We believe so, if the aspirin is stopped by 36 weeks of pregnancy. When baby aspirin is taken before that point, the risk of it causing abnormal bleeding for mother or baby is quite low.
This is the web site if you want to read the whole article:
One other reason an embryo may not inplant is the quality of the embryo. The embryo can look perfect on day three but not continue to develop enough to implant on day 5-6. Have you had any go to blastocyst in the lab?
Me - 35 Unexplained DH 37

Thank you so much you guys .......... you are great buddies! I will endeavour to find out as much as I can about baby aspirin and blast embryos.
Still keeping the faith!
