Acupuncture

Post by eskavon »

Just about to undergo our first go at IVF and wondered if anyone has any experience with acupuncture alongside IVF?

Hi there

I have had 5 IVF and my first 4 I did without acupuncture and I got 1 positive. Then on my 5th and last go I decided to have acupuncture and I got a positive which sadly ended in a miscarriage a few weeks ago but I firmly believe thst it can help. My friend had 5 treatments with no success and on her 6th with acupuncture she has just had her first positive. I will keep up with the acupuncture on my next treatment.

Best of luck with it all. Come over to the General Forum when you start and join in a buddy thread.

Love Dagny xkx

Hi everyone, I'm doing acupuncture since the end of Nov '04. I'm 2 weeks into my down regulating injections and had whopper of a headache that I couldn't shake. I told my acupunturist and she done extra points on the head and the headache is gone, whereas nothing else would shift it. I also find I'm a lot calmer inside, so its worth a try.

Hi Trace
Thanks for your note, all stuff seems really positive about acupuncture, will definately give it a go even if it means me just taking an hour out to chill each week. Will join the main board when my treatment commences, you guys are really supportive and I could do with soe moral support before we start.
Many thanks
Eskavon
