Hi Bibby and Vanessa, we went to Manchester Royal Infirmary on 10th December for our first IVF meeting on the NHS with about 80 other couples as predicted, hosted by Dr.Lieberman. Found it very informative, I even asked a question at the end which being a very shy person i think i supassed myself!. We have been told that we only have another six months to go, so Vanessa , hopefully you won't wait too long now. Husband gave up smoking 10 weeks ago which is also one of the things required so come the new year the ball will start to roll !!! roll on 2003 and i'll keep you informed of our progress. Hurray!!! I have just recieved their information pack to get forms signed by gp etc and have more blood taken. Only problem is that because my last cycle of clomid failed I haven't had a period yet to go and start them!!! Six months sounds ages when you are waiting but I am sure it will fly by!! I am glad it was informative and you are very brave to have spoken up, I think I would just shrivel at the back!!! Wishing you a very happy Christmas...this time next year you could be pregnant! Hi Julie, Really pleased you've been able to get on St Mary's list - what did you think of Dr Leiberman? He's a real character, isn't he? I'm sure the time will fly by - does this mean we're not going to be cycle buddies at MFS now? That'll be a shame, I was looking forward to maybe putting a face to the name.
