I am on my first cycle of ivf ............having gone thro a iui earlier but resulted in ectopic and lost my tube ....the dr says other tube is problematic too ...hence on my first cycle of ivf .....i am 30yrs old and my husband 33..........i am really anxious ............can some one help me be more postive.....the dr says i have a 60% chance of take home baby since i have been pregnant before............i am really scared.

I remember what it was like, right at the beginning of all this IVF stuff. There are 2 things you should do :
1) Read Zita West's "Fertilility and Conception" It will really clue you up, and knowledge is power. It's full of handy tips and info about making sure your bods are tip top, and a chapter on assisted conception.
2) Utilise this Site. There's a wealth of info here. The boards are very busy and you're likely to find that whatever question you have, someone can give you info from experience or at least give you their opinion.
I don't know what you've heard about IVF but it really isn't as scarey as you might first imagine. Once you have support and friends here, you'll find you sail through the process and will be on your 2ww (2 week wait - the time between embryo replacement and test day) before you know it. If you have a look at the top thread on the General Forum, you'll see a list of all the crazy abbreviations that are used.
Don't be afraid to ask any question, however daft it may seem...

Sandras right, the first time is pretty wierd but you've found the right place for help and support here.
On the general forum there's usually a thread for all the ladies going through cycles each month - a few will be at the same stage as you. Its always easier to go through these things with people that understand how you feel.

3rd fresh ivf - bfp, fingers crossed
