Hi I am new to the boards! I had my egg retrieval yesterday and they got 14 eggs. I was so happy!! However, today I get the call that only four of the eggs fertilized. I know that four is better than one but I was hoping for a couple embryos to freeze for the future.
My transfer is Friday and my clinic doesn't call to give you updates on the embryos.
Please send me some positive embryo growing thougths!! I would love to hear any positive stories you might have.
Thanks and I look forward to chatting with you some more!

I wish you all the best Allison. I think you should thank god for that. I am not sure how many they are going to transfer. However, if they are going to transfer two. You going to have 2 to freeze. Also keep in mind they might slit. I wish you all the best.....
Almost 5 years ago, I had 4 fertilised embies, 3 went on to divide and 2 were replaced. One is my 4 year old son. It's not the quantity but the quality. It only takes one honey!! Hang in there. When do you test?
Of the four that fertilized two were put back. However they were only 5 cells each. My RE says he would like them to be 6-8 cells but he said their quality was Grade 1 (the best). I was depressed to hear they were slow dividers but am hopeful they continued to divide once transferred back.
My beta is scheduled for the 18th.
Has anyone had a pregnancy result after transferring only 2 five cells?
Thanks,
Addison
