I know it's bad to test at home before the doctor's test...but when should the hcg be out of our system? I took 250 mcgs over 2 weeks ago. I test at the doctor's on Monday but am wondering if the hcg from the ovridel shot is still in my system? I know there is a likely chance of false positives for a while. Any idea? thanks.

I tested about 10 days after my shot and it came back positive. The serum result was negative though. I would think two weeks would be enough but, i'm not an expert.

I started testing 7 days after ET. The first few were negative but 10 days after ET they were positive. My clinic only does HPT's 16 days after ET. But, everyone is different, there is a post on the general board where someone did a HPT in the morning and it was negative, they went for the blood one at the clinic anyway and it came back positive!
If you are to attend for bloods the first time round I would steer clear of the HPT's!
Best of luck
