Hi -- first, congrats on your great beta!! Every RE is different - maybe yours was very satisfied with your first beta and doesn't feel a need to retest for a week? My friend's RE only has patients come in for one beta before an u/s at 6.5 weeks. My RE has patients come in every three days. If you ...

thank you all sooooooo much for your thoughts!! I really appreciate it :). It's been such a crazy roller coaster. In the past few days I have had MAJOR preg symptoms (extreme fatigue, m/s, huge bbs) that I didn't experience with any of my 4 miscarriages but only with my DS pregnancy, 7 years ago, so ...

hi -

My RE transferred two blasts on day 5. The underlying cause for us is tubal - I had a ruptured appendix which damaged my right tube - endometriosis, time (we've been ttc #2 for 5.5 years) and I've had a bunch of miscarriages since my first child was born.

good luck to you!

Anyone's beta double every 72 hours instead of 48?

Hi all -

My betas have been doubling every 72 hours, instead of 48. Actually, there was one dip (May 19) that wasn't good and didn't see a double, but after today's result, part of me is starting to get hopeful again. Just when I wrote this first IVF off, I get somewhat good news .. argh. So now I ...

Hi Sugabeanzs --
Thanks so much for your thoughts on this! I have now had OHSS for 16 days, and while the pain led me to faint a couple of times (lovely), the fluid buildup was never enough by my RE's standards to be drained (my RE was monitoring it with u/s and bloodwork) even though I felt like I ...

OHSS subsiding - does this mean pregnancy is going away?

Hi - I'm hoping someone knows the answer to this. I had pretty bad OHSS that began a few days after ET -- around May 2. Today, May 18, it has subsided a lot - almost all gone. My first beta was 121 at 11dp5dt (May 12) and then 310 at 15dp5dt (May 16) -- not ideal, my RE is "concerned." And so am I ...

introduction :)

Hi all -

I've been lurking on your thread for a few days (primarily b/c I'm scared to say "I'm pregnant") but I wanted to see if I could join the group :)? My EDD would be (knock on wood) January 15.

thanks!
