hopinginpa, I had my still doubtful ectopic/ chemical pregnancy detected at 5 weeks . My first beta on 14dp3dt was 20 and beta hcg was 220 when suspected for ectopic as it increased by 20 units every alternate day which is considered typical of ectopics. But i was completely alright with no bleeding ...

yes , hopinginpa, I too had experienced ectopic from an IVF. My doc suggested to wait for a normal period after the ECTOPIC period. Moreover, methotrexate affects folic acid metabolism and can cause spontaneous abortions. So wait atleast two cycles before trying.

hi already blessed. Try to stay positive. Please let me know the mean sac diameter MSD of the gestational sac. And also whether the sac was empty to the extent visualized or whether any fetal pole/embryonic pole noted and if yes, what was the Crown-rump length CRL of that.

Does having a tubal block without associated hydrosalphinx require one to have that removed before trying a second IVF especially in a case with ectopic as an outcome of the first IVF.

Or is tube removal recommended only in those blocks with hydrosalphinx before attempting a second IVF ?

A sac ( as small as 3mm ) can be seen as early as 4 to 4.5 weeks (calculated from ur last menstrual period) when HCG levels are 1000-1500 mIU. Check the link above.
