To Have Fun,

I took 75 mgs/day DHEA for 12 weeks before this (my 3rd cycle). New RE, she said "it couldn't hurt". It is supposed to help those of us who are poor responders with egg quality and egg quantity.

My results are mixed. It was my worst response yet. Only 3 mature eggs of which only 1 ...

Babiesgalore & angie - Thx so much for your well wishes! I only just found out today - so now we wait out the dreaded 'first 12 weeks'.

hopeful - I don't know anything about beta numbers, sorry I can't help. I don't even know mine - I was too shocked to ask and my Dr. and her nurse were just ...

Hi gang,

Sorry to drop in like this! I don't think I've posted on this thread since April! My apologies for being absent - but everything got to be too much for me. Our chances of getting pregnant were getting more and more hopeless with every Dr. we consulted with.

I recognize quite a few of your ...

josee - welcome to the group!

thf-08 - Have fun in Peoria and take care of your back! I will be doing an antagonist protocol for this third round, possibly with estrogen priming (still getting opinions, etc). I hope, hope, hope that this is the right protocol for me!

In addition, by the time we go ...

Hi everyone,

I know the board seems kind of slow right now...but I bet it will explode over the next 8 weeks! I started on the March/April board in January - and for the first 6 weeks it was just 3 or 4 of us, posting every once in a while - then kaboom! You should see the list of ladies that ...

Hi wolffie! I sent you a pm with the name of my previous RE. I didn't want to post it here because I realize my experience may be fairly unusual - so I don't want to "bash" in public.

DH and I will be using FCI for our next cycle - either completely or as our local monitoring site. We are looking ...

Josefin - I am not an expert and don't really have answers - but I can share my experience.

I have never been on pure Menopur - always a combo of Menopur and FSH (Follistim). Between the two of them, I was on 750IU/day - and I remember my RE saying that was the max dose recommended. So, I don't ...

Hi Michele! Don't worry about AF. AF should be brought on by you stopping the OCPs. AF is brought on by a change in hormone levels (can't remember which one...) which is exactly what happened when you stopped the OCPs. An egg is shed with AF only when you ovulate and it doesn't become fertilized ...

CCRM

Hi everyone,

My husband and I are thinking about seeking treatment from CCRM in Denver. I know there have been posts about this clinic in the past - but I've looked and can't find them now.

Specifically, I am interested in stories from anyone who has been a patient with CCRM. I am a low responder ...

Mellie - the ganirelix cycle is the same as the antagonist. I have been wondering about estrogen priming as RE didn't suggest it - this is why I have the consults scheduled, to find out if estrogen should be included....

Thanks again :)

lynnie and mellie - Thanks for all your guidance and wisdom! I am still trying to figure out this AMH business. From what I've read....0.3 is very low; however, I have decent FSH levels at 6.3.

I'm definitely a low responder, once I had 10 eggs, 8 mature, transferred 2 good quality 3day embryos ...
