I know 2 people who've got PG from Dr Mars's office (not with Dr Mars himself); that is an excellent practice. Also, Huntington Reproductive and Scher Institute are supposed to be good (I know of 2 PGs from Huntington). I have loads of friends and family in the area, though I live in England. I'd go ...

Many congratulations and welcome. I don't think you should fly, not with your history of miscarriage. Too tiring, stressful, far from your doctors, dehydrating, risky with changes in cabin pressure, not to mention your needing to carry things. Don't risk it.

My best friend's FSH has been 12 before, though it went down to 7 point something at the start of her recent IVF/ICSE cycle, during which she used the short protocol (she took bravelle). They got 4 eggs. 3 of them fertilised through ICSE (they did ICSE not because of male factor, but because there ...

I've been on low dose asp, sanatogen pronatal, & heparin (I'll be 33 weeks with twins tomorrow). Neither Mr T at the ARGC nor my obtetrician have worried about the combination.

I only know I had a terrible experience with Bath Assisted Conception Clinic. Severe OHSS from inadequate monitoring, followed by early pg loss. Then I learned that they hadn't frozen our embies properly. I feel very strongly that the boost to your chances from taking the time & trouble & expense to ...

I can't recommend ARGC highly enough. I wouldn't go anywhere else. PG with twins (due after I turn 40) after 3 ICSE treatments & 2 pg losses. No one is as thorough or cutting edge as they are.

more sad news I'm afraid

Oh Becky,
You don't know me but I'm so sorry for you. I hardly post, but you ask for hopeful stories of getting to 2nd or 3rd trimester after early miscarriage and I'm one. ICSI number 1 I had severe ohss with 2 wweeks in hospital, drains in my waist, near organ failure, then had an early pg loss ...

daft question

I was told by the ARGC to count 2 weeks back from egg collection for a fake first day of last period. So my egg collection was June 12th. Fake last period was 30th May. I trist ATGC with everything. The obstetrician who's looking after me at my local hospital agrees with this. It makes no sense to ...

help please -inconclusive scan result

Beckym,
Look at the ivfconnections.com board (I really like this site), on their Pregnant After IVF board. Right now there is a current thread there called 'U/S', which is full of stories by women who didn't see heartbeats early, and were scared to death, but then did see them, & have healthy ...

Bath Assisted Conception Clinic

I registered for this forum purely to answer your question. I can't tell you what your decision should be, only that I had my 1st IVF cycle at this clinic and was very unimpressed. They don't monitor with blood tests; they didn't even scan me until my 9th day of injections; they don't individualise ...
