Re: August Frozen Transfer

Blair so sorry about your negative HPT. I had a friend in the lab who ran my HCG Friday instead of Sunday and of course it was negative so I stopped all my meds as of Friday. I am now second guessing myself after $30,000 that we should have ignored our age situation and did the vasectomy reversal ...

Re: August Frozen Transfer

Yes Blair that was me. I was thinking the same thing about you being behind curtain number 2 (LOL). Just got home and relaxing. The embryo did thaw so I am hoping that it will stick. Good luck on your transfer. With our last fresh transfer, we had three and the other two didn't look as if they would ...

Re: August Frozen Transfer

Blair, I am going to be at 12:00 Tuesday so I may be seeing you if my 5-day embryo makes it through the thaw process. I totally agree with you the stitch today hurt. I don't think the lidocaine jelly helped much at all. Have a great weekend and I may get to meet you Tuesday.

Re: How can I help my lining thickness?

Blair, yes I go in for check up Friday afternoon and we are tentatively set for 24th too. That's kindof cool that we may end up on the same schedule. I just hope my frozen thaws and makes it too. They are going to thaw alittle earlier since we drive 2 and a half hours so we won't make trip and the ...

How can I help my lining thickness?

Just had RE visit and my FET has been pushed back due to my lining only being 6.9 or so. Will recheck on Friday. I'm on 0.2mg IM Estrogen, 10 units of Lupron and on the increased dose of Estrogen tablets 8mg. I am also taking my baby aspirin and prenatal vitamins. My RE told me to decrease my lupron ...

Re: August Frozen Transfer

Jerseyjane, Our clinic (Blair and I go to the same clinic) freezes whatever is good to freeze. I unfortunately have only one frozen so we are praying that that one will make it through thaw on 8/20. I'm on Lupron injections already and I agree with Blair that they told me I may only have a VERY ...

Re: August Frozen Transfer

Glad to see both of you guys in August too! I just got back from my RE appointment. Looks we are shooting for 8/20 for transfer of my one frozen embryo. Blair I think it is a good idea to transfer 2 that way you have 2 more in reserve. I now wish I would have given that 4 cell that I transferred ...

Re: August Frozen Transfer

Blair, glad to see you started a specific August group. That Summer group is looking pretty busy and they are in all kinds of stages right now. Hoping for good vibes for all of them. I'm not sure when I will actually do transfer but it is supposed to be in August. I go to RE Friday and hope to have ...

Re: Ghost or anyone-exercise and stims

My RE told me the same instructions as Angela's. I also was careful with the pedicure chair because of the jarring. But my first IVF I wasn't told this til my second week of meds...either way, I got BFN. :( I would be safe and just walk as my RE suggested. My ovaries really didn't hurt or give me ...

Re: New here -- considering IVF

My husband also had TESA two different times due to 18 year old vasectomy. It wasn't too painful per my dh. The first local shot hurt but he went against md advice and even ran 5 miles once we got home. The TESA cost us $1200 but had to pay $300 extra because we had to use his lab and he couldn't ...

Re: New here -- considering IVF

My husband had also had vasectomy 18 years ago, so with both IVF treatments we did ICSI and fertilized very good numbers so I wouldn't be too concerned about your fertilization part. Good luck!!!!

Re: June Cycle Buddies!

blairwh58- That's great news and numbers. Hopefully almost all will be mature for you. I had more cramping this time than last retrieval. I hope the prednisone doesn't keep you awake. I am a BIG nap person and while taking that drug.....I didn't get one nap. BUT I did today, woohoo! Good luck to you ...

Re: June Cycle Buddies!

Just got back from transfer. Out of the 5 fertilized, I had an 8,7, and 4 cell and the other two were very fragmented. RE and embryologist has little hope that the fragmented ones will make it to freeze, therefore, we decided to place the remaining THREE. The RE, NP, and the embryologist all ...
