June Cycle Buddies!

We just got word that we will be doing IVF during the second and third week of June. I am meeting with my RE on Tuesday to get all the information I will be needing, sign consent forms, and finalize everything. I am looking for some cycle buddies to chat with over the next few weeks. This will be our first IVF attempt.

Hello! I will be starting my second fresh cycle some time in June, probably 2nd or 3rd week. I see RE the first week of June. He wanted me to have AF again before starting 2nd cycle. I look forward to seeing if mr protocol will change or not. This board has helped tremendously and I look forward to sharing my journey with June cycle buddies.

im starting my cycle for my 2nd attempt but i maybe doing my transfer at the end of this month or beginning of next month depending on my body responding to the meds. so we'll see. i just started my meds. i'll be really close too tho. good luck.

hi everyone
we'll be starting a cycle on jun 12th. this is our 3rd cycle, our first was in sep and a BFN, our second was an FET in dec and was a new year's BFP but i m/c at 6 weeks. i needed to take a bit of time off after the m/c and 5 months later i am ready to get back on the rollercoaster and hoping for a spring baby. we saw the RE last week and still awaiting the protocol, he said he'll probably decrease my meds this time around to try to increase egg quality even if it means less quantity. in oct we had 21 eggs and high fert rate but low embryo development, with only 7 morulas left on day 5.

Hi everyone I'm thinking transfer should take place mid June. This Will be our 3rd cycle not counting my lovely cancelled cycles Hoping to get a BFP that sticks this time. My DD is a spring baby,so maybe this is a sign Can only keep hoping. I'll be doing the antagonist protocol cause lupron doesn't work on me. This will be our last fresh cycle and I'm not a real fan of egg retrieval. I think I'm just mentally done with surgeries and procedures, I've had more than just my share. I should be having my ER/ET by the end of the first week of June, if all goes well. I just started Lupron yesterday.

We plan to have our second attempt IVF in June. We attempted in March 2010 BFN. We had retrieved 11 eggs, 8 mature, 7 fertilized via ICSI, transferred 2 but other five were not able to be frozen. I'm 37 and my husband is 49 who had a vasectomy 18 years ago. Last IVF went very smooth with no complications so I was very shocked with BFN. This time RE is increasing my follistim and menopur and adding an estrogen patch, so we will see. Glad to see other attempting in June. Wish I had found this website when we attempted our first IVF.

I am so excited to finally join!!! I have been reading for a while and think this is just great! A little about me...I had my first IVF in 10/09 which resulted in a chemical pregnancy, I was so upset that I decided to take some time off before trying again. So decided to start again this month and will be getting my FET transfer (have 5 frozen will be using 2)the first week of June. My husband and I are very excited and hopeful that this time around will work. Look forward to chatting with you june cycle buddies....

This will be our 3 IVF, first IVF 09/09 positive Beta but suspected ectopic, second IVF frozen embies 03/10 negative Beta. I will be starting birth controls at the end of this month, so stimulation on Jun, for sure eggs retrieval and embies transfer for July, I hopefully some of you will have the same calendar.

I met with the RE today, but we don't have specific dates yet. Tomorrow I will schedule the appointment with the IVF center for my nurse consultation. The place we are doing it at only does it for 2 weeks out of the month, so I know it will be the second and third week of June. We are excited to get started! Other than that, no news. I am glad to have so may cycle buddies Good luck!

just got my meds delivered today, and will be starting Lupron on monday. Kinda nervous about doing the injections myself when my dh is out of town. any advise, tips? the big box of meds was kinda overwhelming...

Narly - I was also very overwhelmed when I first received my box of meds - there were so many I wasn't sure what to do with them. But usually they are taken one at a time so you'll be fine. I don't know how you feel about needles, but I don't find the Lupron injection to be too bad - needle is pretty thin, and I just have a little bit of a burning sensation afterwards but for a few mins. Hope this helps - good luck on monday
