Gem/Michelle/Traci

Mind if I butt in with a question? I am due to start second cycle of IVF/ICSI in about 5 weeks, all being well. I have heard good things about IVF done in conjunction with TCM so on Saturday I went for the first time to see a TCM doctor, who has recommended a course of ...

Dear Loopy

So sorry to see your news. What a horrible few days you have had.

You sound in a positive frame of mind though which is brilliant and at least you don't have to wait too long till your next cycle, i think that really helps.

Thinking of you and wishing you lots of luck next time round ...

Loopy, I am no expert but should have thought that as long as your HCG is going up that must be good news. I have heard of lots of people bleeding and going on to have bouncing babies, in my very amateurish opinion, I think the HCG level is the key factor.

I really feel for you having to wait now ...

Thanks girls for your messages.

Well had a blood test today and the clinic has confirmed that my hcg level has dropped from monday and is now 16 and a half, should be in the 100's by now apparently so that is definitely that. Had a good old cry about it last night so today I was just resigned to ...

Dagny, thanks for the message.

No, the baby was not IVF. The family does have a little boy already, but sadly he was born with a heart defect and he has had to go through a lot of operations already in his short life. He and they are coping brilliantly though and he is a lovely little chap, but it ...

Dagny, we have not "spoken" before, but I was gutted to hear your very sad news and very moved by your posting.

I think it is an absolutely wonderful idea to have a dedicated site on the BB and your idea for the extra small clothes is a really good one. I know someone who sadly lost her baby last ...

Thanks Rach and Loopy for your kind messages. Loopy, I tested on Monday at the clinic and got a positive which I was absolutely ecstatic about. Soon brought back down to earth with a bump!

I spoke to the clinic this morning and I am going in again tomorrow for a further test to see precisely what ...

Spoke too soon....

Initial euphoria has now evaporated. Did a HPT this morning just for fun and it was negative. Shortly afterwards I had a small bleed.

Think my short lived pregnancy has come to an end. Will phone the clinic this morning and see what they say.

Sorry to post bad news, feel so glum.

Poor Responder to stims -Success stories needed

Hi Karen. I recently completed my first cycle of IVF/ICSI (negative)and was quite a poor responder (5 eggs). I found some postings on another message board that I sometimes visit suggesting that taking
L-arginine can improve your response. It looked like it might be worth a try and I think I ...

Stressed to the eyeballs

Hi Scorry.

So sorry that you are feeling so down at the moment - moan away, you have every right to. I think after all you've been through it's not surprising that things are getting on top of you, especially in the run up to Christmas which can be really stressful at the best of times. <br ...
