I heard a few weeks ago on a 'ivf' tele programme the same question asked and the consultant said:
At age 20 - 25 % of embryoes are abnormal and will not implant
at age 30 - 50 %
at age 40 - 80 %

so thats why the more eggs they get leads to more embryoes which at least gives the embryologists some ...

Its worth it all over again

I went through all the same feelings and emotions about guilt, especially when I needed the support from this site when I already had my precious first baby. It really was a lot easier the second time as you have the thing you've been wishing so hard for already. Luckily it worked second time again ...

hi, i know this string was posted a while ago, but I just had to say something about Gina and her methods.
I am a complete gina fan - both my 2yr 9mth old and 4 mth old (both ivf babies) are 'contented babies'.
Ginas books get a huge amount of stick - mostly by people who have never read the books ...

So so sorry. We've just been sooooo busy - we are in the middle of our high season and have so much work to do but also i'm absolutely exhausted at the end of the day and just havn't had the strength to get on line. Its great to come on and see that everyones still doing brilliantly. Pregnancy brain really does exist and I think it kind of never goes away - it does get better after the baby comes but now the second ones on its way I'm sure I'm far worse than the first time.
