Hi Toni,
It is cheering to read your mail and, as with so many experiences shared on the boards, I am encouraged to hear that others have struggled with the same problems. Yes, the idea that the litte ones have to build immunity is the only way to look at it, otherwise I have to keep them at home ...

Hi Toni, Jules, and all of you girls,
Yes, the weather in Tuscany is great, but we have paid a high price for our sabbatical - since they joined the creche here in Florence Nadia and Alex have been ill almost all the time! It has something to do with starting at a place where there are kids from all ...

Hi girls,
I have been way from the boards for a while busy with moving the family o Italy for 6 months (am I mad or what :) ) but I am also very interested in the speech development topic. We (Nadia and Alexander - 25 months) are also behind with their speech, although we have the added difficulty ...

Hi Susan,
I wish, with twins a year older than yours, that I could have some great helpful piece of advice for you, but I don't, I can just share my experience and tell you you are not the only one. Mine are also quite competitive except they don't get very often violent with each other, they mostly ...

Hi Zoe, you sound good and cheerful despite the spotting, I hope it is all over in the meantime! and you have had more time to be on the boards I see so that must be a good sign of less work, less stress.. how is little Sam?

Hi Zoe,
Glad to hear you are over the 12 weeks! You know makes the chances for m/c much smaller, now it's' only' a question of the nasty spotting stopping. I told you that I had it also twice in my pregnancy and a third serious blood loss after the amnio (it was the worst time ever). and yet the ...

Hi Jaymee,
I also think Debra is right and the few weeks earlier may count if you think of your babies as premies. But there is also the fact that, at least in my experience, none of the developmental milestones are reached bang on target. In our case, with Nadia and Alex born at 37 weeks 5 days ...

Hi Zoe,
I am so glad to hear your good news - thanks for keeping me updated! I have been thinking of you and checking every day to see how things are. Spotting can really be a horror when you've had a miscarriage - don't I know it. I was aboslutely insane with worry when I spotted with Nadia and ...

Hi Zoe,
Just saw this after writing on the other thread. Lovely that you have seen the baby and the heartbeat is fine. Isn't it such a miracle that you are pg just as you were going to go again! just rest, rest, rest! I cannot imagine facing 11-13 olds! Students seem bad enough. I have to lecture ...

Hi Bel,
I can't believe you are 23 weeks either :) ! As for managing with two, I guess none of us has the feeling we manage so well, I am always afraid of illness, or of me not being watchful enough and them hurting themselves - Alexander is a prime candidate as he is shaping as a mischievous ball ...
