Im 12 weeks pregnant today - with twins!! and am going for a nuchal fold scan on
Wed - we decided we'd have the tests. Im now feeling a bit apprehensive and scared. Has anyone had this and can tell me what its like, do you get results straight away?

Thanks all for your messages. BelB im also feeling quite ill (apparently i get double the dose!) and very tired but like you would nt change that for anything! Im off for another scan on wed so looking forward to that, while still feeling a little scared i suppose!

I think the cost depends on how many drugs you need. I thin k we paid about a total of £2300 for our treatment including drugs.

Sorry its taken me so long to post, I just had my first scan last week and everything was fine and we found out we're expecting twins on 2 Dec!! We're still in shock, it has nt sunk in properly yet.

I agree the QE in Gateshead is fab, the staff are wonderful and as its so small its much more friendly and personal. And a bonus for me, I was successful first time and am now 8 weeks pregnant with twins! If I had not been successful I would definately have stayed with QE

That was the only advice i was given too? How you feeling now? I keep getting twingy pains on my right side. And boobs are really sore, but they get sore before af aswell so not reading anything into that!!!!!!!!

Yes its my first attempt and i test next week, im soooo nervous! But trying to be positive and realistic at the same time!! She says ha! Weve got 8/9 in the freezer if first time doesnt work and will be able to start a month later.

Where do you live and which clinic you at?
