I considered watching it but then decided that my thoughts are already consumed enough by all this stuff. Do I really want to be reminded of it while watching TV as well?!

I've read the descriptions of the shows though and it sounds like it's a really bad as far as giving people who don't much ...

Quasi,

Glad to hear your transfer went well. I didn't even know they could do scans after the transfer...just assumed they couldn't for some reason!
My clinic never does anything after transfer (not even bloodwork). I kind of wish they did something just to make sure things were going ok!

Gail ...

Jag,

I am so sorry. I would bet you'll have much better results with ICSI next time. The clinic I go to actually uses that for everyone....even if there isn't a male issue because the fertilization rates are so much better.
So, I know it's hard, but try to stay positive.

Just an update on my ...

Sand,

Thanks...

I'm so confused about everything. My estrogen level was 1,400 before they even gave me the last IM injection. I can't imagine how high it will be by Monday....probably in the 3,000's. That's higher than it was for my IVF. Meanwhile, I've posted on the internet to several Dr.'s to ...

Well, I went into the clinic this morning figuring that the absolute worst case scenario would be that my lining wouldn't have improved, I'd start the 7 day course of progesterone in order to do the biopsy and at least there would be an end in sight.

Little did I know that was not the worst case ...

Jag,

Glad you are feeling better and wishing you the best for Fri!

Clair,

Sounds like things are coming along well!

Babysoft,

I'm glad they discovered what the issue is and that it's something which can be corrected. It sounds like you may have a good chance conceiving naturally after all ...

Hi everyone...

Update. The nurse who has been helping me at my clinic talked with my Dr. today (yes, on Sunday!) and my Dr. actually wanted to see if I can go in Wed. so that she can personally do my ultrasound and help me figure out what to do. She'll be leaving for 2 weeks vacation Thurs. so I ...

Sandra,

Thanks. I remember your helping keep me sane on my last FET!

You know, I was actually telling DH last week before my appt. that I was less stressed this cycle because I already had seen how my body responded to the drugs on the first FET so I didn't have that whole unknown factor to worry ...

Thank you all for your opinions and support. I don't know what I would do without you!

I've decided to definitely continue on for another week and take the increased dose of medication my clinic recommended. It's worth it if there is even a slim chance it might work and get me to the transfer.

I ...

Thanks everyone for your support. It really means a lot to me. DH is so sick of me talking about the whole thing and he is clueless as far as what we should do. We're also both exhausted as, on top of all this, his car was broken into yesterday when we were traveling so that made a lot of extra ...

Hi all,

We were out of town for the last few days for DH's job so I'm about 4 pages behind on posts. I quickly skimmed over them but will have to go back and read more carefully once I have a sec.

My scan did not go at all well this morning. I'm doing a FET so the main thing they are looking for ...

Jag,

I'm so sorry you're having such a crap day! I know how frustrating it is when you've confided in family members hoping for support from them only to have them end up saying the wrong things or to not show a real interest in learning more so that they can better understand what you are going ...

Nicola,

Seems like things are looking good!

Clair,

I'm so sorry about your friend. It is especially hard when it's someone around your own age like that and someone you knew from childhood.
I mean even if you hadn't seen him for awhile, I can see where it'd still be very sad and distressing ...

Chanteq,

Well done on EC!

Gail,

I'm really sorry to see what you are going through. The Dr.'s always try to tell me how rare OHSS is but it seems like there is at least one person on here who gets it pretty bad each month so how rare can it really be?! I know things probably seem terrible right ...
