OMG, I just popped in to see how things were going and am shocked and saddened to see people's worlds collapsing.

Firstly Debra, I'm so so sorry to hear about your scan. I was thrilled to hear about your BFP and this just seems so unfair. As Lara said, there is still Friday and miracles do happen ...

Just a quickie to say thank you all for your support after I my "pop up out of nowhere and get depressed" post. Kat I read your post on the "life after" board. I'd forgotten that board was even there, so thanks for pointing it out. I may visit there again.

I am no further forward but keep telling ...

Kat,

this is the first time I've looked at these boards for a good few weeks and I log in and there you are thinking my thoughts and feeling my feelings. If it's any comfort to know that someone else is going through the same thing, well here I am.

It's exactly 4 weeks since my embryos died (I've ...

Hi Girls

just popped in briefly to see how things were going. I'm so so sorry to hear about the BFNs for Sandra, Randa and Caz. Randa it seems particularly cruel after having had to wait to get to ET for so long, for this not be the one. Just my view, but if you want to get going again really ...

Hi girls, just a quickie to say thanks for all your kind words and good wishes. I'm feeling a little bit better today and DH and I are going out for lunch somewhere posh (the joys of freelance work) and then for a nice walk on this beautiful crisp, sunny day.

Thanks again

Caroline

ps Lisa good ...

Hi, I'm still here - couldn't keep away for long. Thank you all for your kind words and good wishes. Lara, I appreciate what you mean about "playing my roll of the dice", that really struck a chord. I'm trying to convince myself that I played the best possible game and did everything that I could. I ...

Hi girls. Not good news I'm afraid. Out of the blue the clinic rang this morning to say that neither of my frosties had survived the thawing. I was totally unprepared for this as I hadn't expeced them to call til tomorrow and I'd convinced myself that at least one would make it. This was our final ...

Well so much for sodding probability theory and my 75% chance of at least one ofthe frosties surviving. Out of the blue the clinic rang this morning to say that neither of them survived the thaw. I wasn't even expecting a call til tomorrow, so I hadn't even had time to worry about it. It was a total ...

Hi Caz

I'm doing FET on Thursday. As Sue says it's a much more laid back process than IVF, particularly if you have an unmedicated cycle, as I am. How soon are you thinking of doing it? I went on a 6 week health kick beforehand to prepare - I cut down on alcohol (to a glass of wine or two a week ...

Hi all

Kate, I don't understand the whole test date thing either. I assumed that because the embies are 3+ days old, you could knock 3 days off the 2ww. I haven't been told yet when I should test, so I'll compare notes when I get that far. Hope you're doing ok so far. Last time I found the first ...

Lisa, I'm so so sorry to hear your news. Life just seems so unfair sometimes. I agree with Lara, it is worse to get pregnant and have it snatched away than to never get there at all. You're wise to take some time out to grieve and heal. Don't make any big decisions for a while about what you do next ...

Bev, I've wondered the same thing as I have light periods too. But I've been assured that it makes no difference. My womb lining has always been thick enough and of a healthy looking quality when I've done IVF before (even on my first abandoned go, I nearly got to EC and they were scanning to check ...

Got mine in Boots, Nicki - even the smaller branch had them. Never seem to find them in supermarkets - they seem to do about 3 kinds of HPT but no OV kits.

I wish they made refills for them. It's about £22 for a pack of 7, but with the digi kits you get a separate main bit and attach a new end bit ...

Yo Kate - 2 out and both thawed! That's great news and really gives me hope for my two little bundles of cells. I hope you're getting plenty of rest. When do you test - do you have to wait the full two weeks?

I have started stick-peeing to detect my LH surge. Was it you who recommended digital ...
