hi. the full story is in the threads for this forum. 3 attempts, 15 eggs on last go. 2 blasts each time transferred.
negative.
i have moved on. but i wish you and all the lovely ladies here the best of luck. x
Thanks all for your contributions. One thing that is happening to me is I am kind of getting over it if you know what I mean....in fact if I hadn't told myself that I would do 4 cycles I might give it a miss....I have no faith in the doctors. But what an amazing group of women you all are.
Sure I agree with you, but I am not having trouble fertilising. On the last cycle 10 out of 12 eggs fertilised and in the first cycle they all fertilised. What I was trying to find out is why the RE insisted that the eggs really shouldn't be left overnight unless there is a problem and from the ...
Has anyone had a few cycles of IVF before the doctor ordered a DNA fragmentation test? If so, after that test, did anyone use ICSI and have a successful cycle following previously negative cycles?
Hi all I went to see a new RE today who looked concerned when my eggs were left overnight in the dish with DHs sperm instead of about 15 minutes on my last cycle. He has also ordered a DNA fragmentation test (I have asked other drs for this and they are so lackadaisical! He said they would do ICSI ...
Had my phone appointment with SCRC. Have to say that the answers were the same as the Aussie doctors...weren't even willing to commit to transferring more than 2 embryos so really....what's the point? Have decided to do the next and final 2 cycles in Australia and then reassess. Not sure if I would ...
Well.....my plans for treatment in the USA have hit a roadblock. I can't find an insurer who is willing to cover me for medical treatment in the USA. Lloyds of London will apparently do it for $100,000!
Because I am not an expat, I wouldn't be covered by the type of insurance which I could get ...
I am no expert or even a lay person... but it sounds like it could be an issue with implantation if you are transferring that many good embryos. Has the RE run tests on vitamin D, etc which can impact implantation? the following blog mentioned the effects of vitamin D deficiency today
I have just finished reading 2 books from opposite perspectives. You may recall the Carolyn Savage and Shannon Morrell embryo mix up. Both have written books...
Cookie - no advice, just wanted to sympathize -- here in Israel there are strict rules on how many embryos you can transfer -- and I'm allowed to transfer only one at a time. Major suckitude. I know twin pregnancies are less than ideal, but multiple BFN cycles suck too.
Thanks ladies. Yes CCRM wants me to go there twice and that's not an option. I have already had all of the tests they want done again and in my view that's too inflexible...
Boy, it ain't easy....
It's looking like Southern California. I have seen the dr there on a few videos and I like his manner ...
We have decided to do 4 rounds so I am now half way through. I have written to the clinics here and requested that they transfer more than 2 embryos given the statistics and limited risks in my age bracket. I am not expecting a positive response...they are so conservative.
