Want to be a surrogate, need help

5. Hi all thanks for taking the time and replying to me. It’s good to know that there are so many of us helping people fulfill their dream of having a baby. Kudos to all, keep up the good work. Reading your posts, I realized that I should go with an agency, well I have found a clinic that deals with ...

Want to be a surrogate, need help

Hi all, I’m still young 24 and my family is complete. I am looking into being a surrogate and my husband is ok with it, however I don’t know how my family would react. I live in Northern California and should I get in touch with an agency or be an independent surrogate. I am not sure on what to do ...

Re: In need of an advice

Hi, I’m not an expert, but you should take progesterone for luteal phase defect. Well, personally I think you are in a little bit of haste. Fees of an independent surrogate mother

I have decided to become an independent surrogate mother but am not sure about the fees that I should charge. A couple of my friends have been through this experience but both of them have been paid differently. I have contacted an agency but they are tight lipped in this regard. Please help.

Re: Carrying twins once, can it be repeated?

There is no assurance that having one smooth pregnancy term ensures that you will not have any problems the next time around. Trouble free delivery depends on a number of factors and even if one does not fall into place there will be problems for you. However, for surrogate mothers who have had ...

Surrogacy or IVF in Europe

I am 44 and from Atlanta, USA. I have already been through 4 failed IVF attempts and know that with every passing year the chances of getting pregnant are getting slimmer. We are looking for surrogacy but I believe that there are a lot of legal issues in the USA plus it is quite very expensive here ...

Re: IVF with pre implantation genetic diagnosis (PGD)

I am 33 and yet to start with IVF. Our infertility specialist has done genetic testing and has found that DH has balanced 3 chromosomes translocation. She says that she has rarely seen this, 2 chromosomes being the usual. However, she has said that when we do start IVF, it will be through PGD as it ...
