I just wanted say congratulations.

I don't get much time to browse the website these days as I'm kept very busy by my 10 month old twins, Katie & Ellie but I just happened to see a couple of your posts and it struck a chord with me. We went to IM in Barcelona too (isn't Dr Olivares gorgeous ...

Your story sounded familiar.

Like you, our twins were born prematurely & I couldn't produce enough milk to feed them (I was very ill afterwards with kidney failure & was in hospital for 2 weeks).

Like you, friends & neighbours were very supportive before the birth. However, since their ...

Hi Jen

We have 10month old twin girls & yes, it is still very hard work as we have had no help (just me & DH).

Have you tried contacting your local Twins Club? Details can be found through the TAMBA website or your Health Visitor. They will put you in touch with other mothers with twins & often ...

Check with your insurance company that you're covered - some have different cut off dates for travelling when you're pregnant.

Also, take a list of 'forbidden foods' with you so that you can check up on things while abroad - remember Palma Ham isn't allowed.

And make sure your DH carries ...

I am so happy for you - sit back, relax & enjoy your pregnancy as it will go so fast.

I'm sorry I didn't wish you good luck on the 2ww but all my time has been taken up with feeding, changing nappies and cuddling my two little darlings, Katie & Ellie.

You really deserve this happiness.

Lots ...

Dear all

Just a very qick post as this is our first night at home with the twins.

Ended up being kept in hosipital after going for a check up as my legs had swelled up & the BP had gone through the roof, had an emergency C-section on 9th November which caused serious complications but resulted in ...

Can you bring my due date forward to 18th November please.

We're not entirely sure when they will carry out the c-section but the consultant wants to get to at least 36 weeks.

Also, I have an appointment on Friday as my swollen ankles have become swollen legs and my BP is a bit on the ...

Hi Lozzy

Like you, I'm in my 40s & we wasted a couple of years on UK waiting lists for donor/egg share treatment.

We then saw an article in a newspaper about having treatment overseas. We picked Spain & then selected the Institut Marques in Barcelona (good success rate/easy to travel to/very quick ...

Congratulations on your ET & enjoy yourself in Barcelona. By the time you get backa good part of the 2ww will already be over. Just make sure that your DH carries the bags etc on the way home.

I know what you mean about Dr Olivares - he is rather gorgeous isn't he?

It made it very difficult ...

Hi Alison

In Spain the medical team chooses the donor according to donor's blood compatibility and physical resemblance to the recipient and it is forbidden to know donor's identity. Family or friend donors are excluded. Donation must be anonymous.

Hope this gives you some encouragement.

We wasted years on waiting lists for an egg share donor at 3 clinics in this country which resulted in 3 aborted attempts due to the donors not responding to treatment & 1 failed course of treatment.

Then DH & I saw an article on going overseas for ...

Hi Caroline

Glad to hear that everything is going well & that the scan showed a nice healthy sized baby.

We have our 32 week scan next Tuesday & hope to hear that the twins have put on some more weight (they were both around the 2lb 7oz mark at 27+ weeks). Should also get some idea as to if & when ...

I know its worrying when you don't feel any movement but I was told that some days babies are just less active - a bit like us really.

Also sometimes they turn inwards so you don't feel anything as they're not touching you.

If you are really getting stressed & anxious about it ...

What a horrible & stressful time you've had recently. Some consultants are just so pigheaded and thoughtless that you just want to give them a good smacking.

I just wanted to wish you all the best on Wednesday & hope that all goes to plan.

As somebody who's expecting twins too (but a couple ...
